Carlos has led the growth of Nunez Construction to an average of $15 million per year, serving the health,
<br />aviation, retail, residential, corporate, and government sectors. His trajectory has built excellent
<br />relationships with government officials at County and Municipal levels.
<br />In addition, Carlos contributes to the community dedicating his personal time to St. Vincent de Paul and
<br />actively volunteering construction services to the Archdiocese of Miami as General
<br />Contractor/Construction Manager. He has served as a Construction Regulatory Board Member for City of
<br />Coral Gables and Big Brothers and Big Sister.
<br />When not immersed in his work or with his family, Carlos enjoys motorcycling and sports, and is a proven
<br />foodie.
<br />EDSEL MARTINEZ—Senior Project Manager I RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS PROJECT
<br />Edsel Martinez is a Sr. Project Manager that has been with Nunez Construction for close to 20 years.
<br />Graduated in Cuba as a Civil Engineer (Hydraulic Expert), and later Civil Engineer at Florida Board of
<br />Professional Engineers (FDPE), Edsel has collaborated in Nunez Construction's growth as a key player
<br />managing and directing all phases of construction including staffing and estimating, executing value
<br />engineering, procurement, construction.
<br />He has extensive experience of full on-site construction management and land development,
<br />effectively scheduling, monitoring, and inspecting all work from start to completion.
<br />He has a proven reputation for effectively working with architects, engineers, developers, bankers,
<br />contractors, inspectors, city officials, agents, owners, and home buyer. He believes in continuous
<br />communication and keeping everyone in the loop. He is responsible for sub -contractors and all activities
<br />on site, schedule, as well as customer orientation, including maintaining budgets, processing invoices,
<br />and controlling overhead costs.
<br />Edsel is a Certified General Contractor (2006) and Certified Plumbing Contractor (2013) for the State of
<br />Florida.
<br />Edsel holds under his belt the close out of at least seven Health Facilities, over $22 million at Miami
<br />International Airport in construction and remodeling of various concessionaires including three airport
<br />lounges, as well as numerous restaurants, residential, corporate, industrial and government
<br />constructions. Most recently he was Sr, Project Manager at IVF Florida construction (20,000 sq ft clinic
<br />and fertility lab).
<br />Edsel is a man of strong family values and a person with a great sense of humor. His attitude towards life
<br />is of finding possibilities and solutions in a constructive and positive way.
<br />YOAN DRY GALAN — Project Manager
<br />Yoandry Galan is a Project Manager at Nunez Construction. He has been responsible for the overall daily
<br />management of company's projects, ensuring that project milestones are met. Coordinates all
<br />subcontractors' activities throughout project construction. Responsible for project sites being kept in safe
<br />and clean conditions since 2017.
<br />Yoandry holds an MBAfrom Florida International University and a BFin & Marketing from Manhattan
<br />College Riverdale, NY School of Business. He also is a Certified General Contractor for the State of Florida.
<br />His most recent accomplishment is directly supervising all construction work for a 20,000 Sq Ft. fertility
<br />clinic, including exam, consult rooms, office space, nurse stations, ORs, and recovery rooms and a 2,500
<br />Sq Ft Clean Room Fertilization Laboratory.
<br />His experience as Project Manager and previously Superintendent has been overseeing supervising
<br />construction process for Gateway Park Center for the City of Sunny Isles. 15,000 Sq Ft of construction of a
<br />state-of-the-art community space including ballroom, fitness center, kitchen, classrooms, and social
<br />areas. Yoandry oversaw and ensured timely delivery and budget maintenance for all tenant
