P.E. <br />Juan Castro <br />Thomas Ferguson <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br />Construction Inspection Services Project for <br />Miami -Dade County (Public Works and DERM) <br />beginning in May of 2006 through October of <br />2007. We were responsible for supplying <br />1 engineering and construction inspection services <br />to the County, as needed, on its roadway and <br />drainage improvement construction projects. We <br />were responsible for providing and supervising six <br />' (6) full -time on -site construction inspectors and <br />one (1) supervisor for the duration of the <br />construction. The construction projects consisted <br />mostly of roadway reconstruction and drainage <br />improvement projects throughout the County. <br />Our scope of services included overseeing, <br />coordinating and inspecting the work of design <br />consultants, surveyors and construction <br />contractors. Responsibilities also included <br />monitoring, record keeping, approving and <br />recommending requisitions for payments, review <br />of change orders, estimations, claims, scheduling, <br />shop drawings and remedial designs. Responding <br />' to request for information (RFI), and assuring <br />compliance with construction documents.
