The <br />following list includes the most important works: <br />Berth 24 Extension, Port Everglades, Florida — Design and construction document preparation of 500 feet <br />length of HZ combined wall system to extend the effective length of an existing pier in order to accommodate a <br />new cruise ship. The project included the addition of four 150 ton bollards and fender systems. <br />Berth 28 and 29, Port Everglades, Florida - Structural analysis for HMK -260E mobile container crane <br />operation. Structural analysis to determine the feasibility of operating mobile harbor cranes HMK -260E at Berths <br />28 and 29. <br />Master Plan, Cargo Terminal, Rio Paraguay - Part of the team responsible for the design of a master plan for <br />the Cargo Terminal at Rio Paraguay. <br />Disney Cruise Line Resort Island, Bahamas — Part of the team responsible for the structural calculations, <br />construction document preparation and shop drawing review for this project which included a marginal wharf, <br />the creation of an artificial berth island, a protective breakwater, a steel bridge and several fixed timber docks <br />and platforms for recreational activities. <br />Port of Ensenada Master Plan, Baja California, Mexico - Part of the team for developing the Master Plan of a <br />cruise ship terminal with three mega cruise ships, and a recreational marina for 200 boats and roadway layout <br />for interconnectivity between the different berths and marinas. Responsibilities included dredging evaluation, <br />structural calculations for support piers, scour analysis of pier foundations, and construction document <br />preparation. <br />Commercial Center, Cartagena, Colombia — Design of a commercial center at the Port of Cartagena <br />including eight concrete buildings for retails, restaurants and business center and a pier for recreational boats. <br />Responsibilities included the structural design and construction document preparation of all buildings and <br />marine facilities. <br />San Juan Terminal 4, Port San Juan, Puerto Rico - Structural calculation, design, construction document <br />preparation, shop drawing review, coordination with the manufacturers of steel members and site inspection for <br />the widening of the Passenger Cruise Terminal. This project included the use of steel structures for seismic <br />conditions. <br />Marina Costa Baja, La Paz, California — Design of a recreational marina for 315 boats from 30 feet to 90 feet <br />of length. Responsibilities included structural calculations, piers and dock design, dredging and scour analysis, <br />and construction document preparation as well as cost estimating. <br />o sr <br />
