The models were developed to analyze the existing basin wide water management system, identify water quality <br />and quantity problem areas and recommend improvements. <br />Margaret Pace Park Shoreline Stabilization - City of Miami Transportation and Capital Improvements Dept, Florida <br />Principal in Charge responsible for the quality control of the preparation of construction documents for stabilizing approximately <br />1,300 linear feet of the eastern shoreline of Margaret Pace Park located at 1775 N. Bayshore Drive in the City of Miami. In <br />addition, prepared and processed a Miami -Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) Class -I <br />Permit application as well as a Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Joint Environmental Resource Permit <br />(ERP) application. <br />West Kendall Park Lake Management Plan - Miami -Dade Parks and Recreational Department - Florida <br />Principal in Charge responsible of the quality control of the preparation of the lake management plan for a 20 acre lake that will <br />abut Kendall Tamiami Airport. The plan address concerns associated with the potential of bird strikes and the use of airport <br />property by foraging mammals attracted to the lake. Currently permitting the plan through the FAA. <br />Ives Estate Park Wastewater System Improvements - Miami -Dade County Park, Recreation and Open Spaces <br />Department, Florida <br />Principal Engineer - Prepared construction documents to abandon line existing septic tank serving the park as well as plans for <br />a new submersible sewage pumping station and 570 feet of associate sanitary force main. Coordinated the permitting process <br />associated with this project. <br />Phase I - Deering Glade Rehydration - Miami -Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Dept., Florida <br />Principal in Charge responsible for overseeing all work related to the civil & environmental services provided for the design of <br />Phase I improvements to rehydrate the existing glade located with the Deering Estate abutting Old Cutter Road. Services <br />provided included design, environmental permitting and construction observation. <br />® Haulover Park - General Plan Due Diligence Study - Miami -Dade Co. Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Dept., Florida <br />Principal In Charge of assisting the Miami -Dade Park and Recreational Department by conducting a due diligence study of <br />vrater /sewer improvements and drainage /water management improvements required to bring this park into compliance with the <br />current regulatory standards. In addition, environmental permitting constraints were identified and presented in a due diligence <br />report that addressed various site plan alternatives. <br />City of Miami- Pavement Rehabilitation - City of Miami Public Works Department, Florida <br />Quality Control and Principal in Charge of this project that entailed pavement evaluation and design of improvements of 2.4 <br />miles of residential subdivision streets. This project involved the demolition of the asphalt and limerock base of 14 sites and <br />reconstruction. Directed the preparation of plan and profile plans depicting pavement resurfacing, reconstruction, regrading, <br />swale reconstruction, pavement marking, signage and traffic control. Coordinated the preparation of specifications and <br />engineers opinions of probable construction costs. <br />Wastewater Reuse Feasibility Study and Alternative Water Supply Plan - Miami -Dade Water and Sewer Dept, Florida <br />Regulatory Advisor - Directed the regulatory component of the Reuse Feasibility and Alternative Water Supply Study, including <br />identifying regulatory constraints and determining project altematives for further evaluation. Participating in public and regulator <br />input workshops. Making special presentations to Senior Management and County Commissioners as needed. <br />Utility Management - Deltona Corporation Utility subsidiaries - Throughout Florida <br />President I Chief Engineer - As former President of one of the largest privately-owned Utility Companies in the State of Florida, <br />responsible for the preparation and control of all capital and operational budgets of the Utility Divisions. Directed, analyzed and <br />made recommendations for long range planning, feasibility studies and rate increase applications. Defined organizational <br />structure and achieved improved productivity. Responsible for the management and coordination of all engineering staff, <br />establishment of basic design criteria to be used for all network systems and treatment facilities. <br />Managed the operation and construction of the numerous water and wastewater treatment facifides for all Deltona Corporation <br />planned communities in the State of Florida.
