<br />® for a mixed -use development at 420 Lincoln Road on the northeast corner of Drexel Avenue and 16th Street in Miami Beach. This six-
<br />ID story structure consists of street -level retail facilities containing 17,000 square feet and a 484 -space public parking garage to serve the
<br />® New World Symphony Campus. and Lincoln Road Mall.
<br />® Metropolitan Miami, Met 2 Financial Center and J.W. Marriott Hotel, Miami, FL — Project engineer on the design team for this
<br />® project composed of a class A office building and five -star hotel connected by a parking structure with a pool deck on top. The 48 -story
<br />® office building is a uniquely sculpted design destined to be a main point of interest in the downtown revitalization effort. The hotel
<br />® building will have 360 guestrooms that spread out over 20 floors. Kimley -Horn was involved in this project from its inception, dealing
<br />with the very challenging urban redevelopment site with many constraints.

<br />® Miami World Center, Miami, FL — Served as project engineer. Kimley -Horn partnered with a private developer, the City of Miami, the
<br />Miami Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), and other stakeholders in preparing typical sections for streetscapes for the City's
<br />® largest proposed downtown project. Kimley -Horn also partnered with numerous utility companies to determine existing underground
<br />® conditions. Once this information was obtained, we worked with multiple stakeholders to develop and evaluate various streetscape
<br />® options for roads and avenues within the multi -block project limits. During the schematic design phase of the streetscapes, the project
<br />was canceled due to the economic downturn.
<br />® Florida International University (FIU) 2005 -2015 Comprehensive Campus Master Plan Update, Miami, FL — Project engineer
<br />® (transportation/traffic). As a subconsultant to another firm, Kimley -Horn assisted in the preparation of Comprehensive Master Plan
<br />Updates for Florida International University (FIU). Master plan updates were prepared for the Biscayne Bay Campus in the City of North
<br />® Miami, as well as the University Park Campus and the Engineering Center in unincorporated Miami -Dade County. Comprehensive
<br />® master plan components under Kimley- Horn's responsibility included traffic, transit, solid waste, utility infrastructure and storm water
<br />management needs. Tasks included analysis of existing conditions by conducting campus walk - throughs and reviewing infrastructure
<br />® as- builts and appraisal reports. As part of the project, Kimley -Horn also collaborated with University personnel to review current and
<br />® future campus programs and planning documents; existing parking and circulation efficiency and constraints; accessibility studies;
<br />® utility studies; and planned construction, renovation, and infill project documents. In addition, interviews with utility providers and other
<br />university utility consultants were used to verity and add detail to our findings. Based on these findings, Kimley -Horn assisted the team
<br />® in preparing master plan concepts and long -term goals, objectives, and policies for FIU, which are reflective of the university's current
<br />® mission and operating budget.
<br />® Florida International University (FIU) Academic Health Sciences Master Plan, Miami, FL — Transportation engineer responsible
<br />® for providing transportation planning/engineering services pertinent to the master planning of the Health Sciences Center at FIU.
<br />® Kimley -Horn analyzed the future parking requirements for the 5 -year, 10 -year, and 20 -year phases of this project and provided
<br />® recommendations in not only meeting parking demands, but also locating sites on the property to best serve the separation of vehicular
<br />and pedestrian traffic. We also provided recommendations specific to the geometric configurations, access locations, and traffic
<br />circulation for the internal campus loop road as well as roadway laneage and geometric configurations at external intersections serving
<br />® the project.
<br />® Districtwide Traffic Operations Safety Studies, FDOT District Six — Served as project engineer responsible for developing safety
<br />® alternatives, as well as conducting capacity analyses for these alternatives. The objective of the study is to identify probable causes for
<br />® prevalent crash patterns and develop improvements that will reduce these crashes at study area intersections.
<br />® Divine Savior Academy Expansion, Doral, FL — Serving as project engineer. Kimley -Horn is part of the team providing civil
<br />® engineering design and permitting services for a three -story high school expansion project at Divine Savior Academy in Doral. The
<br />108,000- square -foot facility will include a three -story classroom, an auditorium/chapel, gym, and fitness center, along with athletic
<br />® fields, courts, and a new parking area.
<br />® Miami Beach Convention Center, Miami Beach, FL — Served as project traffic engineer for the convention center master plan
<br />that includes over 1,000,000- square -foot of additional convention hall area. The analysis laid out the framework for the traffic impact
<br />® analysis, parking garage analysis, multimodal considerations including pedestrian and bicycle facilities, and considerations for a transit
<br />® superstop.
