<br />® Monterey Road Design, Stuart, FL — Landscape architect on the Kimley -Horn team contracted by Martin County to expedite the
<br />® design of approximately 1.5 miles of Monterey Road (SR 714). The improvement entailed designing a four -lane roadway that would
<br />® be consistent with the approved PD &E study conducted by the FDOT that was accepted by the Martin County Metropolitan Planning
<br />® Organization. The nature of the work included roadway design, storm sewer design retention calculations, offsite drainage, coordination
<br />with the Martin County Airport Authority, landscaping design, and lighting design.
<br />® Participatory Fountain at Indian Riverside Park, Jensen Beach, FL — Project manager and landscape architect for this
<br />participatory fountain project. Kimley -Horn provided schematic design, civil and landscape architectural design, construction
<br />® documentation, permitting, and management services. The firm was also responsible for coordination with the citizens art advisory
<br />® board and various subconsultants.
<br />® SR 5 /US 1 Improvements, St. Lucie County, FDOT District Four — Provided landscape architectural services for four miles of SR 51
<br />® US 1 in St. Lucie County. Design included mass plantings along the roadsides and median. Special consideration was given to slope
<br />® stabilization during design due to coastal sand ridge conditions.
<br />® St. Lucie County Fire Stations, St. Lucie County, FL — Landscape architect for three new fire stations for St. Lucie County Fire
<br />® District. Services included tree preservation assessments, landscape and irrigation plans, and construction observation.
<br />® Juan Ponce de Leon Landing Park, Melbourne Beach, FL — Project manager. Kimley -Horn has worked with Brevard County Parks
<br />® and Recreation since 2000. Ponce Landing Park is one of five parks that we designed and permitted. Ponce Landing included all site
<br />civil design and permitting, including coastal construction control line (CCCL) permitting; site plan approval; Florida Department of
<br />® Environmental Protection water, sewer, and stormwater permitting; and Florida Department of Transportation permitting. Environmental
<br />® services included detailed evaluations of the beach and dune system, detailed coordination on lighting impacts, extensive coordination
<br />® for dune restoration with the State and with Brevard County Natural Resources Management Office, and identification of appropriate
<br />vegetation to restore areas impacted by pedestrian paths along the dune. Kimley -Horn prepared all engineering drawings for
<br />® construction, including landscape, utilities, parking, pavilions, restrooms, and dune crossovers.
<br />® Oars and Paddles Park, Indian Harbour Beach, FL — Project manager for the Kimley -Horn team that worked with the Brevard
<br />® County Parks and Recreation Department to provide the following services for the Oars and Paddles Park: conceptual site planning,
<br />® landscape architecture, civil engineering design and permitting, community involvement, dock design and permitting, traffic analysis
<br />® and permitting, environmental permitting, environmental services, shoreline stabilization/restoration design, drainage, and construction
<br />observation. This park features restrooms, paved walkways, a pavilion, boathouse, floating dock, nature trail, and parking.
<br />® Ancient Oaks Park, St. Lucie County, FL — Project manager for this 25 -acre park in central St. Lucie County. The project scope
<br />® included design and permitting for a multipurpose playing field, playground, restroom facility, and adjacent nature area. The property
<br />® had a number of large oak trees and the park was designed to preserve them. Special details were developed for the vehicular areas to
<br />® minimize disturbance to root zones.
<br />® Oxbow Eco- Center Expansion, St. Lucie County, FL — Landscape architect and planner to develop design plans for the addition of
<br />® 80 parking spaces to the eco- center due to building expansion. Special care was taken to preserve the character of the existing pine
<br />flatwood eco- system. Provided circulation and tree protection details.
<br />® St. Lucie Historical Museum, Fort Pierce, FL — Project planner and landscape architect for this 4.5 -acre waterfront property. Scope
<br />of work included design and permitting for an 80 -car parking lot with bus drop -off area to historical museum, drop -off area for dock
<br />® facility, pedestrian connections to riverfront promenade and neighboring park facility, landscaping, irrigation, and site lighting design.

<br />SR 80 Design from West of Haverhill Road to East of 1.95, West Palm Beach, FL — Provided all landscape architectural design
<br />for 3.5 miles of SR 80 from west of Haverhill Road to east of 1 -95. The project included widening this section from four to eight lanes,
<br />designing two grade- separated interchanges at Military Trail and Haverhill Road, widening one bridge, replacing four road bridges
<br />(including an 1 -95 overpass), and the incorporation of extensive landscape medians. Palm Beach County is the maintaining agency for
<br />the landscape and irrigation for this project and Southern Boulevard was part of the County's OTIS (Only Trees, Irrigation, and Sod)
<br />master plan program. Kimley -Horn worked closely with the County to establish the native tree palette and the specifying of a remotely -
<br />controlled irrigation system. The landscape and irrigation portion of this project included permitting through FDOT, South Florida Water
<br />Management District, and Palm Beach County.
