<br />Canova Beach Park, Brevard County, FL — Served as project planner. Kimley -Horn
<br />provided consulting services for this multi - phase, 1,500 -foot scenic oceanfront park in Brvard
<br />County for the County Parks and Recreation Department. Kimley -Horn provided all planning,
<br />environmental, surveying, landscape architecture, and engineering services for this park.
<br />Golden Sands Park, Indian River County, FL — Project manager for the Kimley -Horn team
<br />that provided planning, environmental, and engineering services for the design, permitting,
<br />and reconstruction of this oceanfront park. Our consulting services involved the land
<br />exchange between a private land owner, Indian River County, and the Florida Department of
<br />Environmental Protection, as well as design and permitting services for construction of the new
<br />park.
<br />Humiston Park, Vero Beach, FL — Project manager. Kimley -Horn provided a full array
<br />of services for Ocean Park in Vero Beach, a mixed -use building that contains 12 high -
<br />end oceanfront and ocean -view condominiums, 3,000 sq. ft. of retail space, and a 75 -seat
<br />oceanfront restaurant. The property previously contained three separate dilapidated buildings
<br />badly in need of redevelopment. Our services included site planning, assisting the City in
<br />crafting an ordinance that would permit the project, park design, streetscape, civil engineering,
<br />City of Vero Beach approvals, and regulatory agency permitting. The project also included
<br />improvements to the City's adjacent Humiston Park, including parking expansion and extensive
<br />landscaping. Ocean Park is now a major anchor building at the south end of Vero's beachside
<br />business district.
<br />Ocean Park and Humiston Park Renovations, Vero Beach, FL — Project manager.
<br />Provided all due diligence, urban design, entitlements, landscape architecture for the
<br />intense redevelopment of this one -acre oceanfront mixed -use project in Vero Beach. The
<br />program included retail, restaurant and residential uses along with the design of S1 million in
<br />improvements to an adjacent main commercial street and public park. This highly controversial
<br />project was the only project approved under the City's Vision Enhancement Project ordinance.
<br />Ocean Park is now a major anchor building at the south end of Vero's beachside business
<br />district.
<br />parc24 - Kimley -Horn Vero Beach Office Campus, Vero Beach, FL — Owner's
<br />representative and project manager for the Kimley -Horn team that designed and developed a
<br />campus -like arrangement for 112,000 square feet of office space on five acres in the City of
<br />Vero Beach. Construction of Phase I, which includes two buildings, as well as the parking deck,
<br />is complete, and Kimley -Horn now occupies one building. Phase I also included infrastructure
<br />for the entire campus. Phases II and III will each consist of three office buildings with leasable
<br />space for tenants. The project will be submitted for LEED Silver certification, and if achieved, it
<br />will be the first LEED certified commercial building in Indian River County. As part of the design
<br />efforts, Kimley -Horn has incorporated several sustainable elements, including a completely
<br />native landscape, green roofs, a central chiller plant, a pervious paver system, LED lighting,
<br />and rainwater harvesting.
