This proposed signal will <br />serve the shopping center that will be served by the proposed new driveway. We prepared a <br />preliminary signal design and met with FDOT to discuss the need for this signal. <br />Traffic Circulation Analysis at Heritage Park, Sunny Isles Beach, FL — Prepared a detailed <br />analysis of traffic circulation conditions surrounding the new Heritage Park. Of particular <br />concern to the City and its residents was queuing on Collins Avenue, traffic operations on <br />Gallahad Dade Boulevard, and the valet circulation patterns of the nearby Ramada Resort on <br />Collins Avenue. Kimley -Horn was able to provide an analysis that convinced nearby property <br />owners that the traffic circulation in the area would not be negatively affected. <br />® Identification of Vehicular and Pedestrian Issues for the Proposed Sunny Isles Aquatic <br />® Center, Sunny Isles Beach, FL — Prepared a study which analyzed access, circulation, and <br />pedestrian safety issues at the proposed Sunny Isles Aquatic Center. <br />Collins Avenue Driveway Connection, Sunny Isles Beach, FL — Assisted in securing <br />the conceptual driveway access permits from FDOT and Miami -Dade County for a proposed <br />® driveway connection to the RK Village Plaza. Upon receiving these approvals, Kimley -Horn <br />® then prepared conceptual plans for the driveway cut, including location, utility relocation, and <br />® coordination with affected utilities. Permitting of the driveway connection through all applicable <br />permitting agencies is also being handled by Kimley -Horn. <br />®General Traffic Services, Boca Raton, FL — Prepared reviews and comments of traffic <br />studies and site plans as part of the City's development review process. Prepared signal <br />® modification plans at the intersection of Spanish River Boulevard and SR A7 A. <br />General Traffic Services, Greenacres, FL — Prepared reviews and comments of traffic <br />® studies and site plans as part of the City's development review process. <br />® General Traffic Services, Jupiter, FL — Project manager responsible for the preparation <br />® of reviews and comments of traffic studies and site plans as part of the Town's development <br />® review process. Performed a study to determine the effects of adding the Bush Road connector. <br />Prepared signal design plans and specifications package for the traffic signal at Toney Penna <br />® Drive and Pennock Lane. <br />US 1 Corridor Modification Study, Delray Beach, FL — Prepared an analysis of conditions <br />® prior to and after a lane reduction on a major corridor through Delray Beach, Florida. Aspects <br />® of the study included traffic volumes at intersections and generally along the corridor, speeds, <br />® and accident data. The corridor study was part of a larger project which analyzed the qualitative <br />effects of decreased number of travel lanes, increased sidewalk width, and increased landscaping. <br />® The project involved extensive public coordination with the City of Delray Beach, the Florida <br />® Department of Transportation, and the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Association. <br />® SR 7 Corridor Master Plan, Palm Beach County, FL — Developed a long -range plan to <br />® guide future growth and redevelopment along a corridor which was operating at over - capacity <br />® conditions at its ultimate width.
