<br />Kimley -Horn is working with the City of Lauderdale Lakes under a general services contract for
<br />roadway, traffic, and stormwater improvements. Including:
<br />NW 37th Street and NW 33rd Avenue. Kimley -Horn is working with the City of Lauderdale
<br />Lakes under a general services contract to provide roadway, traffic, and stormwater
<br />improvements. To date, we have started several projects, including the NW 37th Street/
<br />NW 33rd Avenue project. Served as analyst responsible for the preparation of engineering
<br />drawings and the permitting process for this roadway enhancement project that also
<br />includes the addition of speed tables, walkway, and landscaping.
<br />Town Engineering Services, Miami Lakes, FL — Kimley -Horn is currently serving the Town
<br />of Miami Lakes as their Town Engineer. Miami Lakes has contracted with our firm to provide all
<br />aspects of engineering associated with the Town, including providing staff to fill the positions of
<br />Public Works Director and Stormwater Utility Director. Specific projects have included:
<br />Lake Elizabeth Drainage Improvements. Roadway restoration/resurfacing and drainage
<br />improvements in a residential community including new drainage outfalls and permitting.
<br />Our team located proposed drainage infrastructure to minimize impacts to existing utilities
<br />and adjacent properties. The project also included close coordination with residential
<br />property owners and careful maintenance of traffic to minimize impacts to the community.
<br />Water and Sewer Asset Inventory, North Bay Village, FL — Served as project analyst
<br />involved with developing an asset inventory for water, sewer, and stormwater utilities
<br />throughout the City. Kimley -Horn worked with Avirom and Associates, Inc. to collect field data
<br />and survey data to develop a GIS database and associated mapping for use by the City. The
<br />inventory is an effective planning tool to evaluate the current utility infrastructure, develop
<br />rehabilitation and improvement projects, budget and schedule utility projects, and coordinate
<br />with private utility companies such as Florida Power & Light for their improvements.
<br />Miami Lakes Downtown Phase I and II, and Lake Patricia Roadway /Drainage
<br />Improvement Projects, Miami Lakes, FL — Served as project engineer and provided
<br />permitting and construction phase services; also involved with preparation of construction
<br />documents and specifications. Kimley -Horn was involved with the design and permitting
<br />services to implement a large roadway and drainage improvement project located in Downtown
<br />Miami Lakes. The project area consisted of Bull Run Road from NW 67th Avenue south to
<br />Ludlum Road and Miami Lakeway North from NW 67th Avenue to Miami Lakes Drive. It also
<br />included Main Street and Meadow Walk from Bull Run to Miami Lakeway North. The capital
<br />project included approximately one mile of roadway restoration/resurfacing and drainage
<br />improvements in residential/business areas, curbing and sidewalk improvements, a new ouffall
<br />pipe, swale restoration, signing and pavement markings, and site restoration. The drainage
<br />improvements consisted of approximately 3,000 linear feet of exfiltration trench, approximately
<br />2,500 linear feet of HDPE piping, approximately 40 drainage structures and one ouff all structure
<br />and headwall. Kimley -Horn also provided construction phase services to expedite the project,
<br />confirm the project was built in accordance with the design plans, and to minimize impacts to
<br />the community during construction.
