At any time, more <br />than 20 construction and remodeling <br />projects ran simultaneously, implying <br />many change orders per week <br />and a permanent cost estimating <br />consulting review. <br />Department of Veterans Affairs VA <br />Healthcare Facility Project <br />Miami. Florida <br />Construction Manager - Mr. <br />Compres led the site preparation <br />and construction of a climate - <br />controled corridor / storage <br />complex. He oversaw many aspects <br />of a job that included the following <br />tasks: provide all necessary utilities <br />for the complete operation of <br />the trailers; provide Handicap <br />Compliance, Electrical, Plumbing, <br />HVAC, Fire Protection, Alarms, and <br />Structural Construction; Masonry, <br />Roofing, Flooring, Steel Joist, Painting <br />and Stucco; provide all necessary <br />structural, architectural, civil, <br />mechanical electrical and plumbing <br />systems to make the medical trailer <br />complex fully operational per the <br />construction documents; provide all <br />necessary safety precautions on the <br />project site; abide by the Medical <br />Center Construction policy; provide <br />all necessary product submittals <br />to the COTR; provide a set of red <br />line as -built drawings to the VA at <br />completion of the project; and <br />provide daily logs and safety sheets <br />to the COTR. <br />Jacksonville Regional Transportation <br />Center <br />Jacksonville. Florida <br />Project Manager - Mr. Compres <br />completed the quantity take offs <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />Continuing?rofessioncl Services for Engineering <br />PTO No. 1e -07 -02 <br />Augusi 12. 2014 <br />for a parking garage and skyway <br />as part of the Jacksonville Regional <br />Transportation Center; supervised <br />and directed his team to meticulously <br />calculate and record all quantities <br />for structures developed during <br />the 30% design; and implemented <br />quality control procedures to assure <br />that the final product was accurate <br />and presentable. <br />Airport Runway Rehabilitation Project <br />Aeropuerto Infernacional del Cibao. <br />Dominican Republic <br />Construction Manager -Mr. Compres <br />was responsible for pre - qualifying <br />contractors, monitoring the qualityof <br />work performed, responding to RFI's, <br />reviewing and addressing change <br />orders, reviewing and approving <br />progress payments, verifying stored <br />materials, tracking and maintaining <br />schedules, and coordinating with <br />subcontractors and stakeholders <br />on reconstruction of a runway <br />and taxiway, including pavement <br />demolition, geometry, lighting, <br />and markings. Because the airport <br />could not be shut down during the <br />project, the construction needed to <br />be carefully coordinated to provide <br />limited access during certain <br />hours of the day for incoming and <br />outgoing Flights. Additional project <br />components included a perimeter <br />road, a parking lot, and a building <br />adjacent to the parking lot. <br />IL <br />
