Manis, P.E., LEED AP <br />Civil Engineering <br />Mr. Manis has more than 32 years of experience in the Project Management <br />& Engineering fields. He has managed and supervised numerous projects <br />related to civil engineering, master planning, environmental engineering, <br />water, and wastewater treatment. Mr. Manis has active experience in the <br />oversight and direct delivery of design, permitting, cost preparation, and <br />reporting of projects he has managed. <br />South Florida Water Management <br />District (SFWMD) Design Review Project, <br />Florida - Design QA /QC <br />Mr. Manis served on a Design Review <br />Team that assisted the SFWMD in <br />reviewing all aspects of construction <br />documents for ongoing design <br />projects. The Review Team ensured <br />the documents aligned with SFWMD <br />Design Standards and best industry <br />practices. Under this contract, Mr. <br />Manis has personally reviewed, <br />analyzed, and critiqued design <br />packages for major water control <br />pump stations, minor pump stations, <br />storage and treatment areas (STAB), <br />and various other projects. <br />Miami-Dade Water and Sewer <br />Department (MDWASD) High -Level <br />Disinfection UPGRADE to the South <br />District Waste Water Treatment Plant <br />(SDWWTP), Miami, Florida - QA /QC <br />Mr. Manis provided quality control <br />review of the conceptual and <br />preliminary design identifying <br />the scope and extent of the <br />improvements necessary to fully <br />segregate the NWWF flows from <br />the flows of the other MDWASD <br />source waters that are conveyed <br />to the Hialeah and Preston Water <br />Treatment Plants. Scope of services <br />included evaluating existing facilities <br />at Hialeah and Preston WTP in terms <br />of Energy Efficiency; developing <br />alternatives to convey the processed <br />water from the NWWF facilities to <br />the existing Preston WTP Reservoirs; <br />and assessing the Hialeah- Preston <br />Reservoir piping interconnection. <br />City or Sunny Isles Beach 28 <br />Continuing ?rolessioncl Services tor Engineenng <br />B. =Q No. I d -07 -02 <br />August 12. 2014 <br />Orthodox Christian Mission Center <br />Administration Building, St. Johns <br />County, Florida - Civil Engineer <br />Mr. Manis assisted in master <br />planning and obtaining a Master <br />Development Plan approval from <br />St. Johns County for the 20 -acre <br />site, which included associated <br />parking, access roads, site grading, <br />a storm -water management system, <br />and water and wastewater utilities. <br />He procured the Environmental <br />Resource /Stormwater Permit, Florida <br />DOT Utility Permit, and Florida DEP <br />Water and Sanitary Sewer Systems <br />Permit. <br />Aetna Building Parking Modifications, <br />Jacksonville, Florida - Project Manager <br />Mr. Manis worked on design and <br />permitting for the demolition of an <br />existing parking lot and construction <br />of a reconfigured parking lot. <br />His responsibilities included <br />utilities relocation, stormwater <br />management, and driveway <br />connections. <br />Spring Lakes Subdivision Project, Nassau <br />County, Florida - Project Manager <br />Mr. Manis was responsible for the site <br />layout, stormwater management, <br />and roadway design for single <br />family residential lots. He provided <br />master planning, site design, <br />stormwater and utilities design, and <br />permitting for Spring Lakes Estates, <br />a 400 -acre project in a county <br />with significant wetland areas and <br />multiple drainage outfalls designed <br />for single -acre residential lots. <br />1�_ <br />
