Everglades Tree Islands & Big Cypress Invasive Exotic Vegetation Surveys This project involved the survey and documentation of invasive exotic species on Everglades tree islands in Water Conservation Area 3A, 36 and Big Cypress. Mr. Mohler provided airboat piloting and navigation and also assisted with the data collection. In addition, this project had a GIS component which required creating polygons and calculating area using Arc Toolbox. FAU Tree Island Elevation Study Through a contract with the SFWMD Tree Island and surrounding slough elevation data was collected on over 200 islands throughout Water Conservation Area 3A and 3B. Miller Legg has worked closely with FXE Airport Management on the review and development order conditions and permit restrictions associated with these undeveloped and permitted parcels. Pembroke Pines City Center This project consisted of approximately 100 acre mixed use project that was the last phase of a 200 acre total development in Pembroke Pines, FL. The City Center project consisted of design for a commercial and town center concept with adjacent multifamily residential components. Unique site design components included incorporation of a city park, linear 200' wide FP &L easement that split the property, an adjacent fuel pipeline easement, as well as extensive accommodation for stormwater management systems and wetlands mitigation areas.
