JAVIER RODRIGUEZ, PE Assistant Project Manager — The scope of this project involved environmental documents, alignment alternatives analysis, corridor analysis and a right -of -way relocation plan. Wolk Park Lake Improvements — City of Lauderhill, Florida Project Manager — The scope of this project consisted of lighting improvements for the park's fitness trail and construction inspections of same. Westwind Park Improvements — City of Lauderhill, Florida Project Manager — The scope of this project consisted of lighting improvements for the park's fitness trail and design of exercise equipment pads along the trail as well as construction inspections of same. Multi -Use Trail — City of Plantation, Florida Project Manager /Engineer of Record — The scope was for approximately 2 miles of a pedestrian/bicycle facility including trail heads and rest stops. C -11 Multi- Purpose Bridge Design/Build Criteria — Town of Southwest Ranches, Florida Project Manager — He was responsible for the preparation of certification documentation for the Town of Southwest Ranches. His responsibilities included obtaining required documentation, coordinating meetings with federal agencies and preparing the application package for submittal. This Local Agency Program allowed the Town of Southwest Ranches to obtain federal funding for the two bridge projects. The scope of work included the development of the project cost estimates, design build criteria, as well as coordination with subconsultants. Further activities included performing all necessary engineering calculations and designs associated with the C-11 canal hydraulics. Site visits were performed as necessary as well as coordination with local and federal governmental entities was maintained in order to ensure that site requirements were met and permits obtained as they pertain to the project. NW 71^/91h Avenue Connector (Design) — City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida Project Manager — The project includes the roadway design of a 1.5 mile urban section, 4 -lane divided, connector between NW 7" and NW 9th Avenues in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. The scope of this project includes signalization, drainage design, signing and pavement marking, permitting as well as public involvement coordination. NW 441h Street Improvements — City of Sunrise, Florida Project Manager /Engineer of Record — Project activities included the development of a typical section analysis to determine ® the most feasible alternative as well as the development of construction documents and permitting. A drainage analysis was also performed for the design of the outfall structure that connects to a local canal. The scope of this project consisted of the enhancement of an existing swale conveyance system as well as improvements to the existing streetscape with the addition of a sidewalk feature along the project limits. Project length: 1.90 miles City Engineer — Cfty of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida City Engineer — The project consisted of providing professional civil engineering consultation to the City of Lauderdale Lakes Engineering and Construction Management Services Division regarding plan development reviews, associated engineering activities and weekly inspection services. Bus Shelter Design -Build Criteria Package — City of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida Engineer — He developed a Design -Build criteria package for the construction of six bus shelters along SR -7 (US-441) in the City of Lauderdale Lakes. This assignment included establishing the design criteria for the shelters, utility coordination, coordination with FDOT, coordination with Broward County Transit and determination of available right -0f -way. West Avenue Basis of Design Report (BODR) — City of Miami Beach, Florida Chief Civil Engineer in a multidisciplined team who developed the conceptual design for the improvement and beautification of an urbanized neighborhood in Miami Beach. The improvements included the development of a stormwater management concept that incorporated the use of injection wells and pumps. It also induded water main replacements. Sunrise Lakes Boulevard Improvements — City of Sunrise, Florida Engineer of Record — The scope included the improvement of 2.3 miles of an urban collector. The improvements included the addition of 'Valley Gutter on the outside edges of pavement and the reconstruction of the median. It also included milling and resurfacing the entire 2.3 miles, installation of new pavement markings and signage and aesthetic treatments at three intersections. Battersea and Douglas Drainage Improvement — City of Miami, Florida Drainage Engineer for the drainage improvements for a residential street intersection. This project involved producing an alternative analysis, construction plans and permitting to relieve flooding at this intersection. It also included permitting for the improvements. The selected alternative included the use of injection wells and upgrading of existing storm sewer system and outfall.
