JAVIER RODRIGUEZ, PE <br />As Town Engineer for this municipality, he prepared the application package for FDOT review and approval to qualify the <br />town to receive LAP funds for capital projects. He served as qualifier for the Town, as the program requires a Florida <br />Licensed Professional Engineer. <br />Stirling Road Loop Grant Assistance — Town of Southwest Ranches, Florida <br />Project Manager — RJ Behar assisted the Town of Southwest Ranches to obtain funding for the construction of the Sliding <br />Road Loop Multipurpose Trail. Services included cost estimates, conceptual plans and technical support during the <br />coordination phase. <br />Town of Davie, Local Agency Program (LAP) Certification — Town of Davie, Florida <br />Project Manager — He prepared the application for the Town to receive certification to receive funds from FDOT for capital <br />projects. <br />SE 151h Street, South Miami Road, SE 10"' Avenue Intersection Improvements — City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida <br />Project Manager — He provided the engineering design services for the intersection improvements of SE 15" Street with <br />Miami Road and SE 10�1 Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. <br />Seven Isles Entry Beautification — City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida <br />Project Manager — The project consisted of improvements to the Seven Isles Entryway. These improvements included <br />adding a parking space on the west side of SE 23rd Avenue as well as beautifying two of the existing bridges. <br />Old Davie School Improvements — Town of Davie, Florida <br />Project Manager — The scope of this project consists of drainage, parking and utility improvements for an historical school <br />(now converted to a museum) and adjacent park property. <br />DesignBuild - SW 1961^ AvenuelPembroke Road — City of Pembroke Pines, FL <br />Project Manager Engineering — The scope of this project consists of designing a 2 mile rural section collector and arterial. <br />The project includes complex drainage, permitting, wetland mitigation, extensive earthwork with the use of Geogrid to avoid <br />extensive demucking. The project also includes sidewalks and twin culverts. RJ Behar will also provide support during <br />construction. Project Length: Approximately 2 miles <br />SR- SIUS- 110verseas Highway from Fontaine Drive to S. of Tavernier Creek Bridge, Monroe County, Florida — FDOT, <br />District 6 <br />® Project Manager — The scope of services includes milling and resurfacing, Signing and Pavement Markings, Traffic Control <br />Plans and ADA and pedestrian features upgrades. The project access management analysis resulted in the closure of <br />several unnecessary driveways. Enhanced traffic signal signage was required due to a high rate of accidents at the <br />comdor's one signalized intersection. Additionally the Typical Section was modified to accommodate bicycle lanes without <br />widening. Project length: 0.80 miles. <br />SR -71LIS -441 Roadway Lighting and NW 111" Place Pedestrian Lighting Improvements, City of Lauderhill, Florida — <br />FDOT, District 4 LAP Project <br />Project Manager — Responsible for the design, quality assurance reviews of the plans, permitting and coordination with <br />respective agencies. The scope of this project includes milling and resurfacing, installation of decorative stamped concrete <br />and asphalt, lighting, landscaping, and street furniture. This is a FDOT Local Agency Program (LAP) Project. Project length: <br />0.45 miles <br />NW 87n' Avenue (SR-973/Galloway Road) Traffic Study, Miami -Dade County, Florida — FDOT, District 6 (FM No. <br />405615.3.52 -01) <br />Engineer of Record — The scope included a traffic study with traffic counts to determine the optimal geometrics, traffic <br />operations, and signal warrants for 8 intersections. The scope of this project consisted of final design and future new <br />reconstruction, roadway design, traffic operations, drainage, structure and construction of NW 87"' Avenue (from NW 741, <br />Street to NW 1031d Street) within the Town of Medley. Project length: 1.90 miles t. <br />Devine Park — Town of Davie, Florida <br />Project Engineer — The Town of Davie contracted RJ Behar to convert a portion of the Devine Estates Tree Nursery into an <br />equestrian park. Site elements include multi -use pedestrian/equestrian trails, a gazebo overlooking the existing pond, <br />design of a drainfield for the proposed bathrooms, horse trailer parking and staging area for patrons with enclosure of the <br />remaining tree nursery with associated maintenance access.
