<br />North Bayshore Drive Roadway Improvements — City of Miami, Florida
<br />Project Engineer — The project consisted of roundabout construction along with milling and resurfacing. The scope of this
<br />project included roadway plans, signing and marking plans and landscaping plans. RJ Behar introduced the design of a
<br />roundabout (traffic circle) on the comer of North Bayshore Drive and NE 17" Terrace. Project length: 0.317 miles
<br />Downtown Miami Storm Sewer Project (North Bayshore Drive) — City of Miami, Florida
<br />Quality Control Engineer — The project consisted of a total reconstruction of the roadway and the design and
<br />implementation of a drainage system, which included the replacement of the subsurface drainage system. As part of the
<br />stormwater management system, drainage wells were utilized to assist in alleviating the flooding. The project required
<br />drainage calculations for approval from Miami -Dade County Department of Environmental Management (DERM).
<br />Hillsboro Boulevard/Military Trail Intersection Improvement — Broward County Engineering
<br />Senior Engineer who prepared the roadway plans, signing and pavement marking plans, drainage plans and utility
<br />coordination for this major intersection improvement project.
<br />NW 7t^l9t" Avenue Connector (Design) — City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida
<br />Project Engineer — The project included the roadway design of a 1.5 mile urban section, 4 -lane divided, connector between
<br />NW 7m and NW 92, Avenues in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. The scope of this project includes signalization, drainage
<br />design, signing pavement marking and permitting as well as public involvement coordination. Project length: .5 mile
<br />NW 441h Street Drainage Improvements — City of Sunrise, Florida
<br />Project Engineer responsible for the design plans, construction documents and specifications for the construction of a
<br />swale and sidewalk with tree wells. This included the typical section analysis, plans, cross sections, drainage structures,
<br />traffic control plans and stormwater pollution prevention plans. A drainage analysis was also performed for the design of
<br />the outfall structure, which connects to a local canal.
<br />Bus Shelter - Design Build — City of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida
<br />Project Engineer — Responsible for preparing the Design Build Criteria Package for the construction of five bus shelters
<br />along State Road 7, between Oakland Park Boulevard and Commercial Boulevard. This involved the preparation of the
<br />scope, contract requirements, specifications, etc.
<br />North Miami Avenue between NE 16911 Street & NE 170th Street — City of North Miami Beach, Florida
<br />Engineer of Record for addition of cul -de -sacs, curb and gutter typical sections, parking areas and drainage improvements.
<br />He also provided the utility coordination and the public involvement.
<br />SR-7/Sunrise Boulevard Lighting Design — City of Lauderhill, Florida
<br />Project Engineer and Utility Manager for the lighting plans preparation. This project consisted of roadway lighting design
<br />for SR -7IUS -441 at Sunrise Boulevard in the City of Lauderhill. The design was completed in accordance with the FDOT
<br />Roadway Lighting Criteria. Due to numerous existing utilities, the light pole foundations included the design of spread -
<br />footings as well as extensive coordination by Mr. Alfred, who functioned as the utility manager, with the utility owners. The
<br />project also involved procuring a permit from FDOT. Project length: 1.5 miles
<br />SW 32P Street (SR -9336) from SW 152nd Avenue to SW 13701 Avenue, City of Homestead, Florida — Miami -Dade
<br />County Public Works Department - Highway Division/Plans Review and Design
<br />Project Manager — The scope of the project included master planning and feasibility analysis for the new roadway. This
<br />project involved the upgrading of the existing traffic signals to mast -anus and internally illuminated signs. The design
<br />phase for this project comprised of drainage, lighting, signalization, signing and pavement markings. Project length: 1.52
<br />miles
<br />East 561^ Street, East 41^ Avenue to East 81h Avenue — City of Hialeah, Florida
<br />Project Engineer — He developed the horizontal and vertical geometric design, drainage, typical sections and earthwork
<br />computations. He generated the quantities and prepared display boards for public involvement meetings. Mr. Alfred also
<br />coordinated utility relocations with the utility agency owners (UAO).
<br />East 5V Street, East 81^ Avenue to East of the UPS Entrance — City of Hialeah, Florida
<br />Project EngineerlUtility Coordinator— He developed the horizontal and vertical geometric design, drainage, typical sections
<br />and earthwork computations. He was also responsible for preparing the complete set of roadway, drainage, traffic control
<br />and signing/marking plans. He generated quantities and prepared display boards for and attended the public involvement
<br />meetings. Mr. Alfred also served as the utility coordinator.
<br />West 72nd Street — City of Hialeah, Florida
<br />Engineer of RecerdlUtility Coordinator — He designed and engineered all of the construction documents for the
<br />reconstruction of the roadway and drainage systems. He also performed all of the utility coordination.
