<br />Senior Structural Engineer for the inspection and design of new decorative style railings, bridge repairs and lighting
<br />supports.
<br />McDonald Park Pedestrian Bridge — City of Hialeah, Florida
<br />Structural Engineer — RJ Behar designed the pedestrian bridge across the lake at McDonald Park. The bridge
<br />superstructure was an aluminum truss and the substructure was prestressed concrete piles. During construction we
<br />provided construction supervision services for the pile driving and the aluminum truss installation
<br />Kissimmee River Boat Locks S-61, S- 65165A & S-65D — SFWMD, Town of Basinger
<br />Structural Engineer — Designed the rehabilitation of the Navigation locks, including gates, seals, structural steel repairs,
<br />concrete rehabilitation and general refurbishment. Also performed the engineering during construction services.
<br />Boat Lock Hoists S -131, S -135 & G -36 — SFWMD, North Shore of Lake Okeechobee
<br />Structural Engineer — Designed the replacement of the cable drum hoists for hydraulic hoists, a precast building for
<br />hydraulic power units and the cable ladder climbing system. Also performed the engineering during construction services.
<br />Fuel Tank Platforms at 17 Pump Stations — SFWMD, Miami to Kissimmee, FL
<br />Structural Engineer — Designed platforms, stairways and handrails for fuel tanks. Also performed the engineering during
<br />construction services.
<br />S -193 Boat Lock Refurbishment — SFWMD, Okeechobee, FL
<br />Structural Engineer — Designed the rehabilitation of the Navigation locks, including gates, seals, structural steel repairs,
<br />masonry building, fenders, catwalks, concrete rehabilitation and general refurbishment. Also performed the engineering
<br />during construction services.
<br />North Shore Trash Rakes at S -129, S -131, S -133 & S -135 — SFWMD, North Shore of Lake Okeechobee
<br />Structural Engineer — Designed the bridges, trash rake supports, steel sheet pile walls, bypass culvert stop log slots,
<br />operating platforms for new gates, mast davit supports, outlet structure platforms, bar screens, debris collection bins, fuel
<br />tanker truck containment slabs, and railings lubrication pump dog houses. Also performed the engineering during
<br />construction services.
<br />S -SA Intake Service Bridge Repairs — SFWMD, West Palm Beach
<br />Structural Engineer — Designed the removal for galvanizing steel bridge beams, replacing steel bridge grating, replace
<br />concrete superstructure, replace pump bell support rods, replace handrail, repair bar screen connections, repair scour wear
<br />in floor at pump bells, dean & paint pump bells, modify steel curb on bridge, install removable guardrail on bridge, and
<br />bridge expansion joint seals. Also performed the engineering during construction services.
<br />Powerline Road (SR -645) Palm Beach County, Florida — FOOT, District 4
<br />Structural Engineer for the design of rehabilitation of the bridge over L 47 Canal. The project consisted of roadway design,
<br />drainage, pavement marking and signing plans, signal plans (7 locations) lighting and bridge plan services. The structural
<br />design included repairs to the bridge over Hillsboro Canal including new joints, guardrail connections, and riprap repairs.
<br />Project length: 3 miles.
<br />SR -AIIA Bridge over Boynton Inlet Bridge Rehabilitation — FOOT, District 4
<br />Structural Design Engineer — He prepared plans for replacement of the concrete rails, guardrail attachments, sealing, repair
<br />of joints and also prepared plans for construction of eight new outfalls connecting to an existing seawall. The scope
<br />included the design plans for milling and resurfacing (RRR) for 5 miles of a major rural roadway, including drainage studies,
<br />® drainage design, pavement marking and signing plans, signal plans, bridge plans, public involvement, lighting and
<br />landscape plans.
