<br />bridge deck, the final placement, casting, curing, and the final surface acceptance of the new concrete overlay deck as
<br />well as the supervision of all construction inspectors on this job. He monitored the extensive coordination and MOT set -up
<br />that was required on 1 -75 during the Pines Blvd. bridge deck demolition operations. Mr. Romano oversaw the removal and
<br />demolition of the existing concrete bridge deck to a depth of 3.5' or % below the top mat of reinforcing steel as well as the
<br />sandblasting of all exposed reinforcing steel members of all rust and corrosion, oil, and dirt. He managed the review of
<br />existing steel mats for possible steel deterioration, and verified the re- installlsplice of new reinforcing steel as necessary.
