PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE <br />As President and Principal Engineer for Tierra South Florida, Inc., Mr. Krishnasamy <br />oversees the geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and inspection <br />L— <br />services operations. Mr. Krishnasamy was the Project Manager for a $1.2 billion <br />- <br />multimedia super corridor project that included universities, commercial buildings, and <br />J <br />I <br />residential roadways. He was also Principal Geotechnical Engineer for a $780 million <br />elevated highway, where he established Rock Founding Rationale for deep foundation <br />-- - - -- <br />t <br />systems and for a $450 million highway that included land reclamation and soil <br />stabilization. Mr. Krishnasamy has been involved in hundreds of projects of diversified <br />complexity consisting of residential, commercial, educational, and wastewater <br />treatment facilities, sports arenas, landfills, airports, roadways and land reclamation. <br />He is an experienced Geotechnical Engineer focused on providing the client with a <br />tierra <br />consistently accurate, cost - effective quality product that is delivered on time and within <br />budget. Field study included 6 Standard Penetration Test (SPT) borings for <br />EDUCATION <br />the bridge and associated walls. Provided detailed information on subsurface and <br />MS in Geotechnical Engineering, <br />groundwater conditions. Computed axial capacities for 42 -inch drilled shafts using FB- <br />University of Memphis 1995 <br />DEEP as well as lateral load analysis using L -Pile. Provided geotechnical engineering <br />recommendations regarding foundation design and drilled shaft construction. <br />BS in Civil Engineering, Christian <br />Brothers University 1987 <br />Town Center Park - Skate Park and Pavilion, Sunny Isles, FL Performed a geotechnical <br />Diploma /1984 /Electronic <br />engineering study for the new outdoor skate park facility with concrete ramps, slabs, <br />Engineering, Malaysian Air Force <br />stairs, and retaining walls. Improvements to the park also included a pavilion /restroom <br />Institute <br />structure. Field work included Standard Penetration Test (SPT) borings. Provided <br />geotechnical recommendations to address organics layers encountered. Provided <br />discussion of options which included surcharge, geosynthetic, soil mixing, mat <br />PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION AND <br />foundation, and pin piles. <br />REGISTRATION <br />Design -Build Rehabilitation of West Bridge and Bear Cut Bridge on Rickenbacker <br />Professional Engineer: <br />Causeway, Miami -Dade County, FL Provided geotechnical services for the bridge <br />Florida, 53567 <br />widening. The project includes constructing French drains on the east and west sides of <br />Certified OSHA Supervisor <br />the bridge. Field work completed includes 44 Standard Penetration Test (SPT) boring, 6 <br />BoreHole Permeability (BHP) tests, and rock corings. Performed pile capacity analysis <br />Certified Environmental Consultant <br />and prepared soil parameters and provided geotechnical engineering recommendations. <br />Additionally performed studies to determine the length and pile capacity of the existing <br />bridge (unknown foundation study). <br />Aventura Arts and Cultural Center, Aventura, FL Performed geotechnical, material <br />testing, and Inspection services for the 14,864SF facility. Provided recommendations for <br />site preparation, foundation design, floor slab design, and other construction <br />considerations. Also provided construction materials testing and inspection services <br />which included concrete and soil testing as well as fireproofing and roofing inspections. <br />Force Main Route II, North Bay Village, FL Performed a geotechnical study for the <br />proposed Force Main Route (13,000 linear feet). Provided geotechnical report <br />summarizing subsurface conditions and groundwater information.
