<br />cap. Ms. Russell resolved complex construction issues due to unanticipated interferences

<br />included design calculations and plans for replacement mast arm structures and drilled shaft

<br />1 -4 ITS Sign Structures, Design - Build, Polk County, FL: Structural Engineer of Record
<br />for the design and detailing of cantilever DMS structrues along the 1 -4, connecting to FDOT
<br />District I ITS system. This project included preparation of plans and design calculations
<br />(including fatigue checks) for two cantilever DMS structures and drilled shaft foundations.

<br />DMS Sign Structures, Manatee County, FL: As part of a CEI services contract for a
<br />Manatee County Design -Build project, Ms. Russell performed design review of replacement
<br />Mast Arms, supporting large DMS signs, after one of the original structures failed. Ms.
<br />Russell coordinated with the Contractor, the Fabricator, the County and FDOT for this LAP
<br />project, working to determine the cause of the failure and provide safe, structurally sound
