<br />Environmental Permitting for Arch Creek Pedestrian Bridges, North Miami, FL:
<br />Lead Environmental Scientist - Keith and Schnars designed two single span shared use bridges
<br />along the Arch Creek Bicycle Path. Mr. Abbott directed the ecological field inspection and
<br />provided oversight of the permit applications for SFWMD, the USACE, and Miami -Dade
<br />County RER. Project included mangrove impacts and mitigation. Client: City of North

<br />for updating the Comprehensive Plan for the Florida Keys and the mainland part of Monroe
<br />County. Updated the Coastal Management element, the Conservation element, and the
<br />Natural Groundwater Aquifer Recharge element. This included analyses of soils, water
<br />quality, floodplains, seagrasses, coral reefs, wetlands, beaches, upland vegetation, protected
<br />species, air quality, water uses, hazardous wastes, areas of particular concern, effects of future
<br />land use on natural resources, natural disaster planning, climate change and conservation of
