S`ECTIOO N FOUR: <br />Phase VI - Post - Construction Services SURVEYING <br />Our work is not finished when the project is turned over <br />to the City. In fact, our commitment as a Team is to stand <br />behind every one of our work products as they perform <br />their service to society. Our follow -up services are listed <br />below: <br />• Modify design drawings and prepare as -built drawings <br />based on field information provided by the resident <br />staff and submit to the City for future reference; <br />• Prepare operation and maintenance manuals as <br />applicable; <br />• Compile a punch list and ensure the contractor rectifies <br />all deficiencies; <br />• At the discretion of the City, monitor performance of <br />the project in terms of achieving design parameters, <br />quality, durability and maintainability. By conducting <br />periodic visits and reviews with those operating a K &S <br />designed facility, we are able to assist in optimizing <br />its performance and providing increasingly improved <br />designs in future projects; and <br />• Provide construction records in GIS coverages, with <br />full database and accurate locations, ready for direct <br />importation to the City's information system. <br />Project Set -Up and Research <br />Upon receipt of work order request from the City, K &S <br />will prepare a work order estimate including confirmation <br />of scope, proposed schedule and man -hour estimate. <br />Work order estimates will be prepared on a timely basis, <br />in accordance with the City request and submitted for <br />review and /or comment. Upon receipt of a written notice <br />to proceed, or letter of authorization from the City, K &S <br />would attend a kick -off meeting with City staff if required <br />by the scope. Our professionals will confirm the project <br />schedule for all activities. This schedule will be based on the <br />project scope, site conditions, deliverables (Title Reports, <br />Planimetrics, etc.) and immediate staffing availability. Our <br />field and office staff will meet with the Project Manager to <br />discuss the complete scope of project to ensure that our <br />survey efforts are on track, as well as to assign duties and <br />review project specifications. <br />The Project Manager conducts the necessary research <br />appropriate to the project assignment.
