REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS NO. 14 -07 -02 <br />The following are the generalized approaches for these <br />tasks. <br />Preparation of bid documents for construction and <br />landscape projects including detailed scale drawings: <br />The CTA approach will utilize the latest AutoCAD software. <br />including Land F /X, to prepare accurate, easily readable <br />and understood construction documents including plans <br />and specifications. All projects, no matter what size, <br />require accurate contract documents in order to greatly <br />reduce the possibility of misunderstandings, which could <br />result in a change order. We strive to prepare all <br />construction plans at the same scale for ease in relating <br />the plans to one another. We overlay information, such as <br />existing utilities onto the landscape plans, to identify any <br />conflictinp, issues. <br />our plans go through a thorough Quality <br />Ice /Quality - Control- procedure to make every effort <br />nate errors, additional revisions, and construction <br />to the maximum extend possible. Our Project <br />r: Douglas Schultz, R.L.A., LEED AP will be <br />ibllefor�uality control for all of the Sunny Isles <br />3ndscape architecture projects. <br />All of the landscape 'architecture projects would be designed' iri <br />accordance with the NatureScape and Xeriscape principals. It�is <br />our intent to design the SunnyNsles Beach pr8jects-1/s6ch as the <br />WASD Park and Samson Park in—accordance with�the <br />NatureScape and Xeriscape principals. NatureScape principals <br />have been utilized by the Landscape Architectural department at <br />Craven Thompson for the last twenty -(20) years; so they are not <br />new to us.
