SECTION NUA PPROACH / METHODOLOGY <br />REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS NO. 14 -07 -02 <br />... Z . <br />requirements and design for the long -term as well as CPTED principles to ensure the safety of the <br />public. Our designs always include colorful, texture -rich plantings using a predominantly native <br />plant palate. <br />CTA will work closely with City staff to prepare landscape designs that are exciting for both the <br />observer and City. Following the initial data collection phase, CTA will prepare conceptual <br />landscape plans for review by the City. These conceptual plans will be detailed to a 30% level. <br />Once comments are received, the plans will be revised to become the Final Construction <br />Documents, which may or may not include subsequent 60% 90% and 100% submittals which is <br />dependent on the complexity of the project. <br />If required, the plans will be processed through the City's site plan review process and then bidding <br />documents, including written specifications, will be prepared to be placed out to bid by the City of <br />Sunny Isles Beach. <br />Site Master Planning <br />Like every person. every site is unique. Each site has a personality, whether it is outwardly <br />apparent or inwardly hidden, the. personality- needs_to_be_defined_ and nurtured. In order to <br />accomplish that goal. the master plan needs -to b "e deVelbped"in an. integrated, step -by -step <br />process. This process will insure that the all of the opportunities will be utilized to the fullest <br />potential. / � � �� 4�_� <br />• Meet with Sunny Isles Beach City staff to gam initial input to determine the goals and <br />objectives of the site. ( - ) w <br />�" /\ <br />• Visit the site to begin the site analysis phase. <br />• Photograph thdsite from both\on. site as well as the views into the site from the adjacent <br />roadways. � � <br />• Determine the d \ `led re\ireme`t�or'the siie�s" y and begin survey. <br />• Review the City Zoni "ng.Code and-other regulation_ to determine site constraints. <br />• Determine existing and•p\ posed utilities. <br />• Develop bubble diagrams for- identifying the relationships between all site components. <br />• Develop Concept plans. <br />Meet with the City Staff and other stakeholders to review concept plans. <br />• Re- evaluate the conceptual plans and revise to accommodate concerns and comments. <br />• Prepare Preliminary Plans. <br />• Review with Staff. <br />• Finalize Plans. <br />• Present to City Commission. <br />• Revise as necessary. <br />CRAVEN THOMPSON & ASSOCIATES.
