The bridges listed below are examples <br />° <br />of the <br />coastal bridges and bridge replacements with multiple spans designed by TRCWW <br />currently <br />in service: <br />1) <br />Blind Pass Bridge: (Lee County) Replacement of coastal exposed bridge in same <br />. <br />alignment using a pre- engineered timber temporary bridge to maintain 2 lane <br />traffic. Permanent bridge is concrete beam type with 11 — 42' spans with a <br />construction cost of $2,700,000. <br />ry�ry <br />2) <br />Pondella over Hancock Creek: (North Fort Myers) Replacement with widening of <br />4 span 200' long bridge using 18 inch deep precast deck units and 6 inch <br />® <br />reinforced deck topping. Provided for phased construction to maintain traffic. <br />0) <br />Construction cost was $1,153,000. <br />3) <br />Key Marco Bridge: (Marco Island) Construction of skewed 2 lane coastal bridge <br />to access Horr's Island as part of residential community. Bridge designed for "top - <br />down" construction for protection of environmentally sensitive submerged lands. <br />4) <br />Entry Bridge for Collier's Reserve Community: (Collier County) The 181' long <br />bridge design was a unique steel superstructure built on a railroad bridge <br />. <br />foundation to allow two lane access to a residential community. <br />5) <br />Bonita Beach Road over Fishtrap Bay: (Bonita Springs) The 3 span 150' long 4 <br />lane bridge replacement/widening was part of an award winning roadway <br />i <br />improvement project. Construction was phased to maintain traffic. <br />® ®® <br />6) <br />Keen Road Bridge Replacement: (St Lucie County) 4 span 2 lane bridge <br />replacement constructed with prestressed deck units with topping and special <br />radius end span for turning movements at "T" intersection. Construction cost: <br />$438,000. <br />7) <br />Barfield over Factory Bay: (Marco Island) 3 span 135' long bridge replacement <br />FiO <br />for 2 lanes and 2 sidewalks with special landscape median, using precast decks <br />�L <br />with topping to assist in maintenance of navigation during construction. <br />Construction cost: $728,201. <br />8) <br />CR 512 Bridge Replacement/Widening over Sebastian River: (Indian River <br />County) replacement of old 2 lane deck bridge with a new divided 4 lane 3 span <br />concrete beam bridge using the old bridge in the center for maintenance of traffic. <br />Construction cost: $2,400,000. <br />9) <br />Dearborn Street Bridge: (Venice) 94' long 3 span continuous reinforced <br />concrete deck for a 6 lane bridge replacing a 2 lane bridge with long approach <br />roadway seawalls.
