Langan has recently completed a <br />comprehensive 300,000 SF, S22 million renovation of its <br />facilities. <br />The project included a three -level 232,500 GSF mall <br />expansion, a two -level 167,000 SF Nordstrom's Department <br />Store, a four -level 2,000 -car parking garage, and associated <br />site improvements. Design and construction was fast - tracked <br />to allow grand opening before the 2007 holiday shopping <br />season, while minimizing impact to the active mall <br />facility. Langan's familiarity and experience as the <br />geotechnical engineer of record for the original mall <br />development resulted in the proposed expansion and <br />Nordstrom's department store being supported on cost - <br />effective shallow foundations. The parking garage was <br />supported on short, high- capacity auger cast piles. <br />0 <br />
