E X C E P i 1 0 N A t S O I U E 1 0 N S PROJECT MANAGER EXPERIENCE Mr. Robert McSweeney, PE, has more than 25 years of local experience in South Florida including municipal engineering, civil engineer- ing along with related plan- ning, permitting, design and construction administration. His main focus over the past 14 years has been in the ser- vice of municipal and gov- ernmental clients. This work has involved large scale FDOT and County roadway projects including an inter- change construction on the HEFT (Homestead Exten- sion of Florida's Turnpike), NW 12th Street Widening (Miami -Dade County), and the Hillsboro Boulevard Streetscape project (Deerfield Beach); utility infra- structure upgrading and neighborhood improvement projects including storm water (drainage) systems, drainage pump stations, water main upgrades and replacements, gravity sanitary sewer system replace- ment and lining, reuse water main installations, sew- er pump station(s) replacements and rehabilitations, and transmission force main replacements, and traffic calming improvements; and Municipal engineering, development review and representation. Sample engineering design and /or construction ad- ministration projects include the Surfside drainage pump stations, Fort Lauderdale Harbor Beach Neigh- borhood Utility Improvements, Pompano Beach 24" reuse water main (one mile in length through a resi- dential neighborhood), Pompano Beach island bridge replacement project, Plantation bridge /culvert re- placement project, Dania /Meadowbrook drainage pump station, and Weston roadway resurfacing and traffic calming projects. He understands the necessary efforts and intricacies in serving and managing munic- ipal clients and regulatory agencies as well as dealing with the public and acting as a liaison to the Commis- sion, municipal staff, residents and business owners. These efforts include the process of overseeing the design, management and construction of scheduled improvements, and ensuring final completion of the project for a successful close -out. See below for a detailed description of some projects Mr. McSweeney has performed. • Fort Lauderdale Neighborhood Improve- ments Projects (Estimated Construction Cost(s) $9M): (2004 - 2007) Construction Administrator for neighborhood improvement projects including drainage improvements/ modifications, utility installations (water mains /services, water transmission mains and force mains, and bridge utility crossing replacements), utility rehabilitations (sanitary sewer gravity main and lateral lining /CIPP, lift station rehabilitation /reconstruction), road- way restoration and reconstruction, traffic calming and intersection improvements, road- way lighting, landscaping and irrigation, and pavement markings and signage. • City of Pompano Beach Reclaimed (Reuse) Main (Estimated Construction Cost $2.2M): (2007- 2008) Contract Manager /Engineer of Record / Construction Administrator for S,000 LF of 24" reuse transmission main and asso- ciated distribution mains and services located within an existing residential neighborhood involving directional bore installation and open cut, complete roadway restoration, and Swale improvements. • Deerfield Beach Hillsboro Blvd. (S.R.810) Roadway Corridor Improvements (Estimat- ed Construction Cost $6.SM): (2007 - 2010) Engineer of Record /Contract Administrator, project included engineering design for re- construction and improvements to approx. 4,800 linear feet of roadway (Hillsboro Bou- levard/S.R. 810) from Federal Highway to S.R.
