<br />SAFETY POLICY <br /> <br />This company is committed to safety. Our objective is to have a safe company, to avoid accidents, <br />thereby improving efficiency. However, the best efforts of this company are doomed without the <br />active support and cooperation of all personnel. Please read the rules and field procedures set <br />forth herein and familiarize yourself with the safety policy of the company, as well as all applicable <br />Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Guidelines and Regulations. It is the <br />responsibility of all personnel to adhere to these policies and rules. <br /> <br />Your safety is a major concern of RIC-MAN and we make every reasonable effort to provide you <br />with a safe work environment. Superintendents, Foremen and representatives of management <br />must be attentive to make sure that safe practices are followed. Employees of subcontractors and <br />suppliers, while on RIC-MAN projects and property and in the performance of their work, shall <br />comply with all Safety and Health Regulations established by local, state and federal agencies a nd <br />all safety rules and policies established by RIC -MAN. <br /> <br />THINK SAFETY FIRST Learn the safe way to do your work. Use only safe equipment. Don't take <br />chances. When you think safety, you make things safe for yourself and your fellow employees. Injuries <br />on the job can be prevented if some basic thought and care is taken. Safety begins with common sense. <br />Don't do something that could be done more safely by using the correct equipment or getting assistance. <br /> <br />UPDATED, AUGUST 2018 <br /> <br />In addition, any employee or organization (contractor or sub -contractor) intending to bring any hazardous <br />materials into the jobsite, where is controlled worksite, may first provide a copy of the item’s safety data <br />sheet (SDS), to a Ric-Man safety coordinator on site or to a competent person. The same sheet must be <br />delivered to the main office. They will maintain the (SDS) on the company (host), or office trailer on site, <br />for review. <br />(SDS) not available for locally obtained products in which case, so me alternate forms of product hazard <br />documentation will be acceptable in accordance with the requirements of hazardous documentation. <br />All personnel should be briefed of the hazards of any chemical product they use and shall be aware of <br />and have access to all (SDS). <br />All containers on site shall be properly labeled to indicate their contents; labeling on any containers non - <br />intended for a single -day, individual use, shall contain additional information, indicating potential health <br />and safety hazards (hazards communication).
