<br /> <br />Project consisted 54" PCCP near Opa‐Loka Airport, <br />NW 57th Ave and Le‐Jeune Rd. Construction <br />required 54" Plug valves, fittings, access manholes, <br />air releases, restrained pipe, interior lining, <br />extensive de‐ watering, deep excavations over 18- <br />foot-deep, sheeting and shoring. We constructed <br />open cut excavation of 30-foot canal, and also NW <br />57th avenue. Extensive coordination with airport <br />personnel, DOT, including the blocking off South <br />Florida Water Management canal within their strict <br />guidelines and safety protocols. Our crews worked <br />thru the weekends and nights to minimize impacts <br />to NW 57th Ave. The project also included the use <br />and coordination of SBEs. Access to businesses, on <br />ramps, and the airport was a daily necessity. <br /> <br />Weston Force Main and Drainage Improvements <br />Owner: City Of Weston $4.3 million <br />Reference: Bryan Williams 954‐448‐5828 <br />Role: Superintendent <br />Project mainly consisted in the installation of 8,000 <br />feet of 16‐ inch DIP and 8,800 feet of up to 72-inch <br />Pipe, including several culverts crossing main City <br />thoroughfare roads, requiring lane shifting, road <br />closures and many detours. This project required <br />FDOT lane closure coordination <br /> <br />Sunset Island III and IV D/B <br />Owner: City of Miami Beach - $10,910,593.00 <br />Reference: Jeff Crews (954) 481-2812 x 235 <br />Role: Asst Super <br />Project consisted in the design and construction of <br />two stormwater pump stations each in excess of <br />180hp. Over 7,000 feet of stormwater collection <br />system up to 72-inch pipe and 118 drainage <br />structures. The project also included 7,270 feet of <br />new 8-inch water main, undergrounding of <br />franchise utilities (i.e. FP&L), gravity sewer <br />rehabilitation, street lighting and reconstruct and <br />raising of the roads <br /> <br />Section 5 Project 48‐Inch PCCP ‐ NW 72nd Ave <br />from NW 8th St thru NW 12 St For <br />Condotte/Community/De Moya Joint Venture <br />Owner: MDWASD – $450,000 <br />Reference: Nelson Cespedes 305-607-0799 <br />Role: Asst. Super <br />Project consisted of 48" PCCP including restrained <br />pipe, fittings, closures and connections to existing <br />48" PCCP. The path of the pipe was on NW 72nd <br />Ave a 6-lane road with extreme heavy traffic. <br />Several businesses existed along the path <br />requiring difficult coordination and access at all <br />times. The worked involved; critical demolition of <br />existing PCCP, removing sewage from existing <br />pipe, sheeting and shoring, extensive de-watering, <br />deep excavations, installation of access manholes <br />and air releases, dealing with heavy traffic, working <br />on weekends, nights and multiple crews. Difficult <br />utility support and crossings. The project had tight <br />time restraints due to existing lines requiring <br />minimal shut down period. We succeeded in <br />completing the Installation and connection within <br />the scheduled time frame. <br /> <br />Monceaux Road Group I Drainage and Utility <br />Improvements Project <br />Owner: City of West Palm Beach $3.3 million <br />Reference: Tracy Ward 561-494-1103 <br />Role: Asst. Super. <br />Storm water System improvements consisted of <br />removal and replacement of the existing storm <br />water system infrastructure; including storm inlets, <br />manholes, exfiltration trenches, and other <br />miscellaneous appurtenances. Responsible for all <br />sheeting and shoring, dewatering and all by-pass <br />pumping of the storm sewer system. Water main <br />improvements consisted of grouting of the existing <br />water main system (including removal of the water <br />services/meter boxes and fire hydrants) and <br />replacement with a new 8" DIP class 52 , cement <br />lined water main system (Including water services, <br />valves and fire hydrants). Temporary 2" water <br />mains and for all by-pass piping of the water main <br />system . Sanitary sewer improvements consisted <br />of removal and replace existing sanitary sewer <br />Infrastructure including manholes, laterals and <br />cleanouts with 8" and 18" PVC SDR 26 sewer <br />mains, concrete manholes, and 6" PVC laterals with <br />cleanouts. Roadway construction consisted of <br />removal and replacement of existing roadway, <br />sidewalks, curbs, and driveways within the right- <br />of-way. MOT and access to all properties at all <br />times. Traffic signage and pavement markings <br />conforming to city and FDOT standards <br /> <br />Golf Village Water Main Improvements <br />Owner: City of Sunrise <br />Reference: Guarionex De Los Santos (954) 572- <br />2274 <br />Role: Superintendent <br />Project consisted of the replacement of aging <br />potable water mains with new 6" (approx. 41,000lf) <br />and 8" (approx. 3,700 lf) DIP water mains, valves, <br />hydrants and services in the area described above, <br />along with the abandonment of the existing water <br />distribution system and appurtenances, site <br />restoration and roadway milling and overlay
