Super – $4.2 million, 2014 <br />Project consisted of sanitary sewer, stormwater <br />drainage, and roadway infrastructure <br />improvements to a neighborhood of 300 homes. <br />Sanitary construction included installing 3,500 feet <br />of 6-inch DIP force main and 11,500 feet of 8- to 10- <br />inch PVC gravity sewer, 49 manholes up to 19-feet <br />deep, and 1 pump station. Stormwater drainage <br />construction included installing 8,000 feet of 15- to <br />30-inch RCP drainage, including French drain, and <br />66 drainage manholes. Roadway improvements <br />included the reconstruction and final paving of <br />36,000 SY of road, construction of over 20,000 SY <br />of driveway & sidewalk and 2,200 feet of curb & <br />gutter, and the planting or relocating over 250 <br />trees. <br /> <br />Northeast 38th Street Reconstruction <br />Owner: City of Oakland Park – $3.4 million <br />Contact: Ronald Desburnes, P.E. <br />Role: Asst Super <br />As part of a FDOT funded project (LAP), Ric-Man <br />performed drainage, sewer, and roadway <br />infrastructure improvements to the City of Oakland <br />Park’s Northeast 38th St. from Northeast 11th Ave. <br />to North Andrews Ave. Drainage construction <br />included the installation of 1,614 feet of 18- to 48- <br />inch RCP and 60 drainage structures. Utility <br />construction included the demolition or <br />abandonment of existing sanitary utilities and the <br />installation of 450 feet of 6- to 10-inch PVC sewer <br />main, 11 laterals, and 4 manholes; as well as 12,500 <br />feet of telecom and electrical conduit. Roadway <br />and landscape improvements included 17,800 <br />square yards of road construction, 8,750 square <br />yards of sidewalk & driveway construction, 1,300 <br />square yards of decorative paver work, the <br />planting or relocating of over 80 trees, as well as <br />new landscape plantings and new irrigation. <br /> <br />Garden Acres Sanitary System ‐ Design Build <br />Owner: City of Oakland Park, FL – $700,000, 2013 <br />Reference: Harvey Rambarath, PE 954‐630‐4478 <br />Role: Asst. Super <br />Provided all design, materials, equipment, and <br />performed installation of 800 feet of 6‐ to 8‐inch <br />DIP water main, 2,500 feet of 2‐inch HDPE sanitary <br />force main, and a 1,700 foot 4‐ to 6‐inch PVC <br />gravity sewer collection system. The sewer system <br />was equipped with 12 grinder pumps and service <br />connections for individual properties in the project <br />area that connects to the City’s existing sewer <br />system. As part of our scope, Ric‐Man was also <br />responsible for the development of a cost‐effective <br />method for providing power to grinder pumps, as <br />well as a methodology for payment of electrical <br />power costs. <br /> <br />SW 6 & 7 Utilities Extension Project Area 3 <br />Owner: City of Cape Coral- 9.7 million <br />Reference: Paul Clingham, Utilities Director ‐ 239‐ <br />574‐0464 <br />Role: Asst. Superintendent <br />The project consisted of potable water, irrigation, <br />sanitary sewer, stormwater drainage, and <br />hardscape infrastructure improvements to a <br />neighborhood composed of 844 homes and 2 <br />bridges in Cape Coral, Florida. Potable water <br />improvements included installing 39,800 feet of 6‐ <br />to 8‐inch PVC water main with 438 services for 734 <br />meters, 34 fire hydrants, and an aerial crossing. <br />Irrigation improvements included installing 43,790 <br />feet of reclaimed 4‐ to 16‐inch irrigation mains with <br />498 irrigation services for 844 meters, as well as a <br />4‐inch and a 16‐inch aerial crossing. Stormwater <br />drainage improvements included installing, 5,200 <br />feet of 15‐ to 36‐inch HDPE & PVC main, 400 feet of <br />12x18‐ to 24x38‐inch elliptical HDPE main, and 127 <br />inlet structures. Sanitary sewer improvements <br />included installing 41,100 feet of 8‐inch PVC gravity <br />sewer mains up to 16‐feet deep including 98 <br />manhole structures and 540 single and double <br />services, 2 wastewater lift station, and 5,620 feet of <br />6‐inch PVC force main. Hardscape and landscape <br />improvements included 100,000 square yards of <br />roadway reconstruction and hardscape <br />restoration, 95,000 square yards of swale <br />reconstruction, and 11,700 square yards of <br />driveways. <br /> <br />Belvedere Homes, Phase 2 <br />Owner: Palm Beach County, FL <br />Role: Asst.
