The project consisted of 48" <br />force main relocation, requiring careful demolition <br />of existing pipe, connections to existing FM, shoring <br />and de‐watering, deep excavation, difficult access <br />and coordination to Florida's Turnpike traffic. <br />Support and exploration of main gas lines and other <br />utilities. Restoration of road and property adjacent <br />to residences. <br />NE 163rd Street Emergency Repair of 42‐Inch PCCP <br />Owner: Miami‐Dade Water & Sewer Department - <br />$848,027 <br />Reference: Joe Armao ‐ 786‐586‐4198 <br />Role: General Manager / Project Manager <br />Project was an emergency repair of a failing 42" <br />PCCP Force Main requiring replacement right to the <br />Master Pump Station wet well. Extensive DOT MOT <br />on NE 163rd St, demolition of existing PCCP pipe, <br />sheeting and shoring, deep excavations, de‐ <br />watering, extensive by‐pass pumping, use of link‐ <br />seals, closures and pipe alignment to existing <br />connection points. <br /> <br />
