<br />21 <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />18070 Collins Ave. | Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />305.792.1707 | sibfl.net | Purchasing@sibfl.net <br />contamination; including dust, insects, rodents, unclean equipment, utensils and unnecessary <br />handling. <br />h) COVID-19 recommendations and rules – Concessionaire must follow all CDC recommended <br />guidelines. <br />i) Advertising – all advertising of the concession by the Concessionaire is to be approved by the City <br />Manager, or designee prior to production and distribution. <br />j) A current State of Florida Liquor License is mandatory for the sale of alcoholic beverages, required <br />for special events. <br /> <br />3.4 PERSONNEL <br /> <br />The Vendor and its personnel (staff) shall be ServSafe certified for Food Safety Management, Food <br />Handling, and Alcohol Service, as per Florida State regulatory requirements. <br /> <br />Concessionaire shall be responsible for the appearance of all working personnel assigned to the project <br />(clean and appropriately dressed at all times). Personnel must wear visible identification or a uniform <br />while working at all times. <br /> <br />All employees of the Concessionaire and any sub Concessionaire shall be considered to be at all times <br />the sole employees of the Concessionaire, under the Concessionaire’s sole direction, and not an <br />employee or agent of the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />All employees must have a health certificate if required by the State, County of Miami, Florida. <br />The successful Proposer will be responsible for hiring the necessary personnel to conduct the daily <br />operation of the concession and will comply with all federal, state, and local laws related to minimum <br />wage, social security, nondiscrimination, Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), unemployment <br />compensation, and workers’ compensation. State and local regulations regarding food preparation <br />and food handling will also be followed by all employees without exception. Any deficiencies or health <br />code violations as noted by health inspectors will be grounds for immediate termination of the <br />concession contract. <br /> <br />3.5 QUALIFICATIONS <br /> <br />Concessionaire and the individual executing this Agreement on behalf of the Concessionaire warrant <br />to the City that the Concessionaire is a Florida corporation duly constituted and authorized to do <br />business in the State of Florida, is in good standing and that Concessionaire possesses all of the <br />required licenses and certificates of competency required by the State of Florida and the County of <br />Miami-Dade to perform the work herein described. <br />3.6 CONCESSION OPERATING REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to make the necessary site visits to determine available <br />space for installation, available utility connections and propose arrangement and capacity for their <br />equipment. No food products, beverage or ice may be stored on the ground or on any surface in the <br />parks other than on or in the storage area provided. The concessionaire will be required to renovate <br />(city approved), operate, and maintain the indoor concession in high a quality standard. In addition, <br />all signs and structures on the Licensed Premises must be kept in good condition and free of graffiti. <br />
