The successful vendor will provide all <br />furniture, furnishings and equipment necessary for the proper operation of the permitted location. <br />The Proposer shall submit a list of all proposed furnishings, furniture and equipment as part of the <br />proposal process, and specify if equipment is financed or owned. The Proposer shall maintain said <br />furniture, furnishings and equipment in a good condition and in working order. The City is not <br />responsible for any maintenance to the equipment provided. If the equipment is unusable, the <br />Permittee must provide necessary arrangements to replace the equipment. <br /> <br />Keep and maintain the concession facility in a clean and neat condition, where maintenance shall be <br />performed regularly. No alterations, changes or additions to the space shall be made by the Contractor <br />without the prior written consent of Cultural and Community Services Director or designee. All work <br />shall be in compliance with applicable building codes, including, but not limited to the American with <br />Disabilities Act (ADA), and performed by licensed insured contractors. Contractor shall keep area neat <br />and clean, including interior and exterior maintenance of cart and pest control shall be the sole <br />'responsibility and expense of the Contractor. <br /> <br />3.7 MENU AND PRICING ITEMS <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach is committed to offering healthy food and drink options by permitted <br />concessions, to enhance the experience of park visitors and to promote healthy lifestyles. The successful <br />Proposer is expected to serve quality food and drinks to meet the needs of the visiting public. Each <br />proposer will be required to include a sample menu of products to be offered with a proposed price list <br />corresponding to each product. <br /> <br />a) Concessionaire is only authorized for the term of this contract, to sell foods, beverage and <br />miscellaneous “snack bar” type items. All foods, drinks, beverages, refreshments and the like <br />sold or kept for sale, shall be of first quality, wholesome and pure and shall conform in all <br />respects to the federal, state, municipal and other laws, ordinances and regulations and shall be <br />kept subject to the approval or rejection of the Cultural and Community Services Director or <br />designee. <br /> <br />b) Concessionaire must also sell healthy choices for the health conscious patron. Examples of <br />healthy choices are: fresh fruit, yogurt, nuts, granola bars, protein bars, bottled water, juices, <br />coconut water, smoothies; etc. Concessionaire shall provide and maintain an inventory of name <br />brand food and drink items at all times to meet the patron demand. If Concessionaire fails to <br />meet demand due to low inventory levels, the City will set inventory levels. Concessionaire shall <br />maintain the highest available rating from the applicable Health Department Inspections. <br /> <br />c) Agreed upon pricing of each menu item will remain firm and fixed for the duration of the <br />contract, unless otherwise approved by the City. <br /> <br />d) Menu items and prices must be approved by the City prior to sale. Agreed upon menu and <br />prices must remain posted at all concessions in plain view of patrons standing and waiting for <br />service. <br /> <br />e) Only non-glass cups or bottles shall be used for dispensing of soft drinks. <br /> <br />f) No Alcoholic Beverages will be allowed for sale, unless approved by Project Manager.
