From 24/7 <br />customer support, a consultative approach, training, detailed reporting, and easy-to-read monthly <br />statements, your dedicated Merchant Services team is here to help you reach your business goals. <br />S.Armored CarService <br />1.The bank will provide services necessary for the Cityto utilize an Armored Courier Serviceforpick- <br />upoftheCity’sdepositsforsamedaydeposit.Pick-upwillbedailyat one location within the City, <br />asfollows: <br />th <br />City Hall, Finance Department, 4Floor, 18070 Collins Avenue – Deposits from this location are to <br />be picked up for same day credit on select days in which the City is open for business. Frequency <br />of pick-ups has not been determined yet. Proposer shall provide the latest time each day deposits <br />can be picked up for samedaycreditandthefeestructurebaseduponeveryday,everyotherday <br />and intermittentfrequencies. <br />2.Eachandeverydepositpick-upwillbereceiptedforbysignaturein a Citymaintained logbook. <br />3.The armored courier service company will service the pick-up location and keep currentphoto <br />identificationandsignaturesamplesofeachandeverypersonassigned to pick up such deposits <br />from the designated City location. This provided documentation will be relied upon by the City for <br />turnover of suchdeposits. <br />4.The Proposer must state in the proposal if there are additional charges assessed to the City for <br />deposits greater than a certain dollaramount. <br />5.A credit will be applied to the City’s charges on the analysis statement in the event that the couriers <br />to pick up at the designated time andlocation. <br />Armored Courier Services <br />Synovus can work with the Citythroughout the implementation process to document workflow <br />of deposits to understand best use of services to include armored car services and other smart <br />safe solutions to enhance security and create efficiencies for the City. Synovus has existing <br />relationships with multiple vendors to assist the Cityin obtaining a contract for courier service. <br />Armored courier services are contracted between the Cityand the armored courier company. <br />Cash Processing Services- Commercial Cash Pickup and Deposit Processing: <br />Cash deposits are picked up by an armored car service. The cash pickups are regularly <br />scheduled at times agreed upon between the armored car service and the customer. <br />The armored car service transports the cash to a regional processing center for deposit into a <br />Synovus Bank account. <br />Cash only deposits receive next business day credit, for same day credit, the Citywould need <br />to work with armored courier to ensure delivery by 10 am cutoff. Bulk coin deposits receive <br />credit in 2 business days. <br />On-site smart safes can be utilized to minimize courier runs and expedite cash deposit <br />credit. Currency is fed into a bill accepter on the machine and deposits are electronically <br />transmitted to the bank.
