Section 2 Special Terms and Conditions 2.1 PURPOSE OF THE ITB The City of Sunny Isles Beach (the "City") desires to establish a contract with a licensed ("Contractor") to provide all labor, equipment and materials to inspect and clean approximately fifty (50) deep drainage wells structures, approximately three hundred and ninety (390) stormwater catch basins, 170 stormwater manholes and clean approximately forty-two thousand (42,000) linear feet of pipe. Such activities will take place within the City limits. The disposal of the debris shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. The scope of work shall be in accordance with the bid maps, as more particularly described in Attachments A, as titled below: ATTACHMENT A — Storm Atlas Contractor shall, by careful examination, satisfy itself, to the extent it deems necessary, as to the nature and location of the Work, the conformation of the ground and site, access and transportation of materials, the character, quality and quantity of the materials, storage, handling and disposal of materials, the character and storage of the equipment and facilities needed preliminary to and during the prosecution of the Work, the availability, quantity, and quality of labor, water, and electric power; availability and condition of roads; climatic conditions; location of underground utilities; existing site conditions, topography and ground conditions; subsurface geology, and hydrology, and nature and quantity of surface and subsurface materials to be encountered; the general and local conditions and all other matters which can in any way affect the performance of the Contract. 2.2 MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (MARS) 1. Please read the MQRs to ensure the bidder meets these requirements prior to submitting a response to this ITB. 2. All Minimum Qualification Requirements (MQRs) must be submitted with bidder's response. 3. Bidders that do not comply with MQRs maybe determined non-responsive and disqualified. 4. Awarded Contractor will be required to maintain Minimum Qualification Requirement "a" and "C" during the term of the Contract and any Contract renewals. a. The Proposing Bidder shall hold the proper license in the State of Florida to perform the Scope of Work set forth within this solicitation to include being registered as a Certified General Contractor or Underground Contractor with the State of Florida along with registration to conduct business in the State of Florida in all required disciplines. Proposing Bidder must provide a copy of the applicable license(s) with bid response.
