Specified Products: Conform to provisions of Section 00 60 00. <br /> <br />2.2 REINFORCEMENT <br /> <br />A. Type, Size and Location: In accordance with Structural Notes and Drawings. <br /> <br />B. Reinforcing Steel: Deformed bar, free from rust, dirt, and loose scale, uncoated. <br />Factory mark with size and grade. <br /> <br />C. Billet-Steel Reinforcing Bar: ASTM A615, Grade 60 (60 ksi yield strength), except <br />Grade 40 (40 ksi yield strength), where accepted by Structural Notes. <br /> <br />D. Welded Steel Wire Fabric: Conform to IBC Chapter 3, including ASTM Al 85 <br />Plain Type, uncoated or galvanized, free from rust, dirt, and loose scale. <br /> <br />2.3 ACCESSORIES <br />A. Chairs, Bolsters, Bar Supports, Spacers: <br /> <br />1. Detail in conformance to ACI 315 and CRSI Bar Support Classifications. <br /> <br />2. Design sizes and shapes as required to maintain strength and <br />support of reinforcement during placement of concrete <br /> <br />3. Include load bearing pads to prevent vapor retarder puncture. <br /> <br />2.4 FABRICATION <br /> <br />A. Fabricate concrete reinforcement in accordance with CRSI Manual of Practice and ACI <br />318. <br /> <br />1. Bend and straighten reinforcing steel in accordance to ACI 318 Chapter <br />7, except as otherwise shown on Structural Drawings. <br /> <br />2. Do not bend or straighten reinforcing steel that is partially embedded in <br />concrete. <br /> <br />3. Heating of reinforcing steel is not permitted, except as accepted by Engineer <br />for entire operation. <br /> <br />B. Reinforcing Bars Bend Dimensions and Fabrication Tolerances: Conform to IBC <br />Chapter 19 and ACI 318, except as otherwise shown on Structural Drawings. <br /> <br />C. Welding: <br /> <br />1. Do not weld or tack weld reinforcing bars, except as specifically shown on
