Section includes polyisocyanurate roof insulation and accessories. <br /> <br />1.2 SUBMITTALS <br /> <br />A. Product Data: <br /> <br />1. Roof insulation boards <br /> <br />2. Fasteners <br /> <br />B. Shop Drawings: Insulation layout and attachment patterns for roof and saddle areas <br /> <br />1.3 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> <br />A. Insulation shall meet physical properties of ASTM C1289, Type II; Class 1 and provide a <br />minimum <br />Long Term Thermal Resistance (LTTR) value of 6.0 per inch (the basis for establishing <br />thickness). <br /> <br />1. The use of aged R-values based on the RIC-TIMA conditioning procedure 281-1 is <br />not acceptable. <br /> <br />B. Design roof system to meet wind-loading requirements for FBC. Refer to Structural <br />Drawings for wind and design pressures. <br /> <br />1.4 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br /> <br />A. Deliver products in manufacturer’s original packaging, dry, undamaged, with seals and <br />labels intact. <br /> <br />B. Store products in weather protected environment, clear of ground and moisture, and in <br />accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. C. Protect from direct exposure to sunlight. <br /> <br />C. Do not install insulation that has become wet or damaged. <br /> <br />1.5 WARRANTY <br /> <br />A.
