<br />THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />PROJECT NO. 21-1011 <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT RELOCATION TO ANNEX <br /> <br />Project No. 21-1011 November 2024 014529 Testing Laboratory Services-2 <br /> <br />1. To provide access to Work to be tested. <br /> <br />2. To obtain and handle samples at Project site or at source of product to be <br />tested. <br /> <br />3. To facilitate inspections and tests. <br /> <br />4. For storage and curing of test samples. <br /> <br />F. The Contractor shall review all material test reports received from the Testing Laboratory <br />for completion of testing data with acceptable test results for material samples selected <br />and tested. Ensure that any failures recorded in the test reports are resolved by <br />appropriate methods to assure testing compliance with contract documents. <br /> <br />G. The Contractor shall maintain at the job site and throughout the construction project, <br />records for all material samples selected with results by the Testing Laboratory for quality <br />control verification of final test results received from the laboratory. A record control <br />system shall be established for the review, maintenance and filing of all Testing <br />Laboratory Reports received during the construction phase. <br /> <br />H. Employ and pay for services of a separate, equally qualified independent testing <br />laboratory (approved by MDC) to perform additional inspections, sampling and testing <br />required: <br /> <br />1. For Contractor’s convenience. <br /> <br />2. When initial tests by MDC’s testing Laboratory indicate Work does not comply <br />with Contract Documents and the Contractor wants a second opinion. <br /> <br />I. Make arrangements with laboratory and pay for additional samples and tests required for <br />Contractor’s convenience. <br /> <br />J. Pay for removal costs of rejected materials, reinstallation of new materials and the costs <br />of other corrective action. <br /> <br />PART 2 – PRODUCTS NOT USED <br /> <br />PART 3 – EXECUTION SEE PART 1 <br /> <br />PART 4 - MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> <br />4.1 MEASUREMENT: <br /> <br />A.
