THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />PROJECT NO. 21-1011 <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT RELOCATION TO ANNEX <br /> <br />Project No. 21-1011 November 2024017400 CLEANING AND WASTE <br />MANAGEMENT-2 <br />accumulations of waste materials and rubbish caused by construction operations on the <br />work site. Waste material will be removed from the work site daily. <br />B. Remove or secure loose material on open decks and on other exposed surfaces at end of <br />each day’s work or more often to maintain work site in hazard-free condition. Prevent <br />dislodgment of materials due to wind and other forces. <br />C. Empty on-site waste containers whenever necessary so that trash overflow does not occur. <br />Legally dispose of contents at either public or private dumping areas. <br />D. Control the handling of materials, debris and rubbish; do not drop or throw from heights. <br />E. Immediately remove spillages of construction-related materials from hauling routes. <br />F. Perform cleaning operations that will not allow debris of any kind to fall on structures or <br />pedestrian traffic below. <br /> <br />3.3 FINAL CLEANING: <br /> <br />A. In preparation for substantial completion, conduct final walk-thru inspection of exposed <br />interior and exterior surfaces and of concealed spaces. <br />B. The Contractor shall be responsible to have the Entire Scope of work area thoroughly <br />cleaned especially all existing areas adjacent to the areas of improvement. <br />C. Remove grease, dust, dirt, stains, labels, fingerprints and other foreign materials from <br />finished surfaces. <br />D. Maintain cleaning operations until project has been finally accepted. <br /> <br />3.4 DAMAGE TO EXISTING FINISHES: <br /> <br />A. Repair any concrete and pavement damaged. <br />B. Repaint to match existing areas of damaged paint due to Contractors operation. <br /> <br /> <br />PART 4 - MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> <br />4.1 Full compensation for conforming to the requirements of this Section, CLEANING including all labor, <br />materials, equipment, tools, and incidentals will be considered included in the Contract Lump Sum <br />Price listed in the Bid Form and no additional compensation will be allowed therefore. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />END OF SECTION <br />
