Provide warning signs and instruct workers to use protective measures for their safety. <br /> <br />1.4 WARRANTY <br /> <br />A. Upon completion of soil treatment and as a condition of final acceptance, furnish Owner with <br />a written warranty from the applicator, stating that: <br /> <br />1. Application was made at concentration, rates, and methods which comply with <br />these specifications. <br /> <br />2. Effectiveness of treatment is warranted for not less than 5 years without <br />additional cost to Owner, by means of a 5-year repair and replacement bond. <br /> <br />3. Upon evidence of subterranean termite activity, affected area will be retreated at no <br />additional charge to Owner. Additional treatment shall be sufficient to prevent <br />termites from attacking building or its contents. <br /> <br />4. Upon occurrence of damage to building or to its contents within warranty <br />period, affected area will be retreated and damage replaced at no cost to Owner. <br /> <br />5. Warranty bond shall be drawn in favor of Owner, successor, or assigns and shall <br />be non-cancellable by all parties to the contract except Owner. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.1 MATERIALS <br /> <br />A. Provide materials approved by EPA and Florida Department of Agriculture. <br /> <br />B. The following materials are acceptable, subject to compliance with paragraph A: <br /> <br />1. Velsicol Chemical Corporation, Gold Crest Tribute. <br /> <br />2. FMC Corporation, Dragnet FT. <br /> <br />3. ICI Americas Inc., Demon TC. <br /> <br />4. Mobay Corporation, Pryfon. <br /> <br />5. Dow Chemical Company, Dursban TC. <br /> <br /> <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> <br />3.1 EXAMINATION <br /> <br />A. Do not proceed with the work until conditions detrimental to the proper and timely <br />completion of the work have been corrected in an acceptable manner.
