ENROLLED <br />2025 Legislature SB 2-C <br />20252Cer <br />697 the enforcement of federal immigration laws and other matters <br />698 related to the enforcement of federal immigration laws. <br />699 (c) Coordinate with and provide assistance to law <br />700 enforcement agencies in the enforcement of federal immigration <br />701 laws and other matters related to the enforcement of federal <br />702 immigration laws, and monitor local government compliance with <br />703 the requirements of this chapter. <br />704 (d) Administer the Local Law Enforcement Immigration Grant <br />705 Program established in s. 908.1033. <br />706 (e) Collect data related to operations with the United <br />707 States Immigration and Customs Enforcement from law enforcement <br />708 agencies and, by December 15 of each year, submit a report to <br />709 the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of . <br />710 Representatives. The report may contain recommendations to the <br />711 Legislature to improve the state's cooperation and coordination <br />712 with the Federal Government in the enforcement of federal <br />713 immigration laws within this state. The report must detail the <br />714 number of trained law enforcement officers under the required <br />715 agreements in s. 908.11 and the level of cooperation and <br />716 coordination between the following entities and federal <br />717 immigration agencies: <br />718 1. State entities. <br />719 2. Local governmental entities. <br />720 3. Law enforcement agencies. <br />721 (f) Actively seek Congressional action to amend the <br />722 National Crime Prevention and Privacy Compact to require states <br />723 that are a party to the compact to share information relating to <br />724 a person's immigration status for criminal justice purposes and <br />725 to require that such information be fully shared with all <br />Page 25 of 51 <br />CODING: Wordss�en are deletions; words underlined are additions. 258 <br />
