ENROLLED <br />2025 Legislature <br />SB 2-C <br />20252Cer <br />784 and funding criteria for the program. <br />785 (c) Request guidance from the United States Immigration and <br />786 Customs Enforcement for training opportunities and strategies to <br />787 further 287(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, 8 U.S.C. <br />788 s. 1357, program participation in the state and advise the board <br />789 on new training activities that could be considered for <br />790 reimbursement under the Local Law Enforcement Immigration Grant <br />791 Program. <br />792 (d) Advise the board on the efforts of local law <br />793 enforcement agencies related to the enforcement of federal <br />794 immigration laws within the state. <br />795 (e) Provide recommendations on the financial resources <br />796 necessary to aid local law enforcement agencies, and any other <br />797 resources necessary to facilitate the training of such agencies, <br />798 in the cooperation and coordination with the Federal Government <br />799 in the enforcement of federal immigration laws. <br />800 (f) Provide recommendations to enhance information sharing <br />801 between state entities, local governmental entities, law <br />802 enforcement agencies, and the Federal Government in the <br />803 enforcement of federal immigration laws within the state. The <br />804 recommendations must provide for enhanced use and coordination <br />805 of the following Federal Government centers, including, but not <br />806 limited to: <br />807 1. The Federal Bureau of Investigation's Terrorist <br />808 Screening Center. <br />809 2. The United States Customs and Border Protection's <br />810 National Targeting Center. <br />811 3.
