GBTS <br />will not be held responsible for the interpretation or use by others of data developed pursuant to the <br />compilation of this report, or for use of segregated portions of this report. <br />3.0 SURVEY AREA DESCRIPTION AND OBSERVATIONS <br />Former Tony Roma’s/ Future CSIB Offices <br />The interior walls were observed to be finished with DWS and plaster. The ceilings were observed to be <br />drop‐in ceiling. Floors were observed to be ceramic tile, epoxy and carpet over concrete slab. HVAC <br />ductwork was observed to be nonsuspect insulated fiberboard. Plumbing components were not <br />observed. GBTS reviewed Client provided plans (attached) in order to determine building materials likely <br />to be impacted during the renovation. Upon review, GBTS designed this survey to include and be limited <br />to sampling of the following materials: <br /> Interior walls. <br /> Floors. <br /> Ceiling. <br /> <br />No roofs were impacted so as not to void any building envelope warranties. <br />4.0 RESULTS <br />The results of the PLM analyses and assessment of suspect ACM are as follows: <br />Asbestos‐containing materials (ACM) <br />ACM was not identified in the materials sampled that may be impacted by the planned renovations. <br />Nonasbestos‐containing materials <br />Asbestos was not detected in the following materials: <br /> White plaster wall <br /> Gray terrazzo floor tile <br /> Brown wood texture ceramic floor tile <br /> Brown brick partition wall <br /> Beige ceramic tile and grout <br /> Yellow carpet glue <br /> Red epoxy flooring <br /> White plaster ceiling joint <br /> Blue DWS <br /> White 2’x4’ drywall ceiling tile <br /> <br />The original laboratory report is attached.
