The construction site shall be accessible through the alleyway north of <br />NW 178 street, after turning west from Collins Avenue. Vehicles and equipment leaving the <br />site shall exit through the front road between the City Hall parking garage and the <br />construction site, heading east to Colins Avenue and then turn south on Collins Avenue. <br />• A 6ft high construction fence with entry and exit gates, equipped with windscreen, shall be <br />provided and installed to secure the entire perimeter of the work area. <br />• The portion of the building designated as future improvement shall be utilized as the <br />construction site office and operations area. <br />• The five existing spaces at the front of the building shall be utilized for the contractors’ <br />parking. Portions of the existing ground parking shall be used for sub-contractors and work <br />crew parking. Other parking area as designed by the City shall be utilized accordingly. <br />• All deliveries shall be received at the area designed for loading at the west side of the <br />building within the fenced area. Spaces available around the facility shall be utilized for <br />laydown area and material storage area. <br />• All dumpsters, trash removal containers and temporary toilet(s) shall be stored within the <br />fenced construction site. All dumpsters shall be emptied regularly once filed and shall not be <br />left completely emptied at the end of the work. <br /> <br />Proposed Sequencing <br />• The work sequence is to be completed in a single phase from start to finish. <br />• The work includes site demolition, building structural and selective demolition, concrete <br />cutting and misc. site removal. All debris generated from side demolition shall be disposed of <br />immediately to a landfill area. <br />• Engineered shoring design shall be provided to support any elements of work that are to be <br />protected and supported during the wall cutting process. <br />• Once all the exterior and structural demolition of complete, the helical plies shall be installed <br />and the new support for the building addition shall commence. <br />
