Page 3 of 10 <br />2.0 - Responsibilities and Organization <br />Employees <br /> <br />In the event of an incident, OHL Community Asphalt Employees are responsible for the <br />following: <br /> <br />• Following instructions are given by the Emergency Evacuation Lead (EEL), designee <br />or Emergency Evacuation Coordinators (EEC) <br />• In the case of fire, activating the nearest fire alarm. <br />• Reporting emergency situations to their management <br />• Ensuring that she/he understands emergency evacuation procedures. <br />• Ensure that they call the Emergency/Hurricane Hotline, 305-599-2594 when directed <br />to do so <br /> <br />Employees who bring contractors or visitors to the site are responsible for ensuring that they <br />are aware of emergency response procedures and the main contents of this EAP. <br /> <br />Emergency Evacuation Lead (EEL) <br /> <br />The Emergency Evacuation Lead (EEL) is the primary point of contact for emergencies and <br />evacuations at the site. <br /> <br />The EEL must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of this EAP, all operations and activities <br />at the facility, the location of the facility’s emergency equipment and the facility layout. In <br />addition, the EEL must: <br />• Implement the EAP <br />• Be the main point of contact between the site and local emergency services <br />• Lead the Emergency Evacuation Team <br />• Ensure proper and accurate count of employees during an evacuation <br />• Conduct annual EAP Reviews <br />• Ensure all employees are trained to the latest revision of the EAP <br />Emergency Evacuation Supervisors -EES <br />The Emergency Evacuation Supervisors are trained to “sweep” their designated areas of <br />responsibility and ensure employees go to their designated gathering/assembly points. <br />Following are their responsibilities: <br /> <br />• Knowing the location of escape routes, emergency doors, and gathering points <br />• Knowing appropriate actions to take when the evacuation alarm sounds <br />• Directing employees during evacuations <br />• Accounting for all employees in their areas <br />• Designating employees in their area to assist any employees who may need extra <br />help in evacuating (e.g., deaf, blind, mobility impaired.); and
