Page 6 of 10 <br />4.0 - Gathering Points <br />Evacuation maps are posted throughout the site. When the building is evacuated, <br />personnel will move to their designated Gathering Point for a headcount by the supervisors <br />and department superintendents and await further instructions. The supervisors and <br />department superintendents will take a headcount (by name) of all personnel to ensure that <br />everyone has been evacuated from the building and report this to the EEL. <br /> <br />Re-entry <br />If evacuation procedures have been taken over by the Fire Department or any other <br />Emergency Service, then the Emergency Service will decide when it is safe to re-enter. No <br />one will be allowed to re-enter the Plant until advice by the EEL or designee. <br /> <br />Procedures for Employees Who Remain to Operate Critical Operations Before They Evacuate <br /> <br />This document describes those operations, procedures, and personnel required for critical <br />operations before the assigned personnel evacuate during emergencies. A description of the <br />special training provided is also included. <br />Critical Operation and Procedures <br />The shutdown of the asphalt plant and shop. Secure all the facility. The main building server <br />room must be locked and secured. A backup generator will be inspected and discontented if <br />the order by the emergency responders. The shop must be closed and all the area around it <br />must be <br /> <br />Personnel Remaining in the Critical Operation <br />Plant manager, Shop manager, Safety manager, and Operations Managers <br />Special Training Provided <br />The employees that are on hand after an emergency are trained on the company <br />emergency Plan as well as OSHA 10 hours and all the operating procedures of the company <br />equipment. <br />5.0 - Incident Preparedness <br /> <br />Training and Drills <br />All employees shall be trained to the contents of the EAP: <br /> <br />• Upon Hire <br />• Annually thereafter or sooner if plan changes <br />The site must conduct at least one (1) evacuation drill per year per shift. <br />• After drills, the Safety department and Plant manager will gather to conducts a <br />review of the evacuation and make changes to the EAP if needed <br />Response Equipment <br />OHL Community Asphalt Corp has several types of response equipment located throughout <br />the facility.
