4. Operation. <br />The County will operate and staff the Library in accordance with all rules, regulations, and policies <br />of the Miami -Dade Public Library System with a level of service and operating hours and days of <br />service commensurate with all other Miami -Dade Public Library locations throughout Miami - <br />Dade County, including a wide -range collection of printed books and materials, computers and <br />other digital devices, high-speed wi-fi, a wide. variety of public programs for residents of all ages, <br />activities, events, art exhibitions/displays and access to all online/virtual services, and digital <br />platforms for e -books, e-audiobooks, databases, learning/training, and streaming content. <br />The County and the City shall continue to work collaboratively on increasing the provision of <br />programming and activity offerings that best meet the needs of residents of all ages. Additionally, <br />the County and the City shall work collaboratively in promoting and marketing each other's <br />respective services for the benefit of residents. <br />The Parties recognize the provision of library services is ultimately subject to the availability of <br />funding to the entire Miami -Dade Library Taxing District, which is approved annually by the <br />Miami -Dade Board of County Commissioners. <br />The City shall work collaboratively with the County, subject to availability and 24-hour written <br />notice by the County to the City, for use of the Government Center 11 Floor Program Room for <br />free events, programs, and activities provided by the Library for the benefit of residents. The <br />County, subject to written request by the County and approval by the City Manager or designee, <br />may be granted occasional use of the Commission Chambers for major events or programs <br />The County and the City mutually agree to provide each other with 24-hour notice, to the. extent <br />possible, of any changes in access or operating hours to the Government Center building due to <br />County or City holidays, repairs, maintenance, equipment testing or failure, or emergencies that <br />may affect daily operations of the County or the City. <br />5. Sienam <br />The Government Center's monument signage fronting Collins Avenue shall continue to include, <br />at a minimum, the words "Public Library". Further, the County shall be responsible for the <br />provision of, or any changes to, exterior storefront or wayfinding signage installed or affixed to <br />the Library storefront, with such signage, decals, etc., being in accordance with County branding <br />standards and code provisions for signage at library facilities, and applicable City code provisions <br />for exterior signage, and aesthetically consistent with the Government Center design. <br />2025 SUNNY ISLES LIBRARY INTERLOCAL LEASE AGREEMENT <br />319 <br />MDC010 <br />
