2. Please provide information related to the FDOT District 6 Access Management Review
Committee (AMRC) approval for the driveway connection to State Road A1A (Collins
Avenue). Please confirm if the proposed access management connections to State Road
Al (Collins Avenue) are approved and if there are any conditions of approval for these
driveway connections for the proposed land uses.
Kimley Horn & Associates, Inc. 07/30/25 Response: Comment noted. Coordination
with FDOT District 6 is pending. Input from the District on project access will be provided
to the City at a later date. However, note that the project is proposing to maintain the
existing access point on SR A1A/Collins Avenue. Therefore, the project will coordinate
with FDOT for access permits and any traffic analyses as needed. Note that the timeline
for obtaining FDOT approval may not coincide with the review timeline of the City.
Therefore, this request may need to be a condition of site plan approval.
TCG 08/19/25 Response: Addressed. This will be cross-checked as part of the TIS
review.
TCG 09/26/25 Response: Addressed. This item is still pending.
3. Please provide a road segment link analysis for State Road A1A (Collins Avenue)
between State Road 856 (William Lehman Causeway) and State Road 826/NE 163rd
Street. There should be a narrative provided that outlines how the project meets the goals
and objectives of the City's Transportation Element including Objective 8.
Kimley Horn & Associates, Inc. 07/30/25 Response: A roadway segment analysis is
not warranted given the low number of trips generated by the project. However, a roadway
segment analysis between SR 856/William Lehman Causeway and SR 826/NE 163rd
Street along SR A1A/Collins Avenue using generalized volumes of service will be
provided for informational purposes to expedite the City's review process.
TCG 08/19/25 Response: Addressed. This will be cross-checked as part of the TIS
review.
TCG 09/26/25 Response: Addressed. The traffic impact study includes a road segment
link analysis per the approved traffic impact study methodology.
® CORRADINO.COM 30
