As the prime consultant, BA planned and designed Doral Central Park, a <br />77-acre regional destination that promotes health, wellness, recreation, <br />and environmental stewardship through a diverse mix of active and <br />passive amenities. The park includes a recreation center, a competition <br />and recreational aquatics center, an amphitheater, a sensory playground <br />and nature area, ball fields, lake activities, a skate park, a pump track, and <br />supporting parking, as well as tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. <br />Designed as an inclusive and accessible community asset for all ages, the <br />park fosters recreation, social interaction, and community engagement. BA <br />also developed a comprehensive public art program featuring opportunities <br />for sculptures, water features, and large-scale murals that enhance the <br />park’s identity and sense of place. <br />The integration of a sensory playground and nature-based experiences <br />supports ecological preservation, sustainability, and accessibility goals while <br />pursuing Silver Certification from the Florida Green Building Coalition.
