BA completed the renovation of this beach front park as the project <br />landscape architect and architect of record. The existing 3.5 acre site was <br />covered with Category i invasive Australian Pine Trees that were removed <br />for environmental reasons, making way for a variety of opportunities. With <br />community input during the master planning process, the team reimagined <br />park uses and amenities. The new park plan is divided into four quadrants <br />accessible via bisecting palm shaded walkways. Each quadrant has its own <br />identity and use, from sand volleyball to boccie courts, as well as covered <br />playgrounds with safety surfacing to a large park concession and restroom <br />building. <br />The entry facility is the focal point of the park and designed as two buildings <br />separated by a breezeway, which frames a focused view of the Atlantic <br />Ocean.
