<br />Mr. Hernandez brings over 18 years of experience to a variety of design projects, including
<br />intersection improvements, school zone designs, signalization, signing, pavement markings,
<br />and traffic control designs. His technical expertise spans industry-standard software such as
<br />MicroStation V8i, Power Geopack, OpenRoads Design, and AutoCAD. He is skilled in creating
<br />detailed maps using GIS files for data collection and is well-versed in web design and
<br />Photoshop renderings, often used in FDOT proposal presentations and project deliverables.
<br />Mr. Hernandez has extensive experience conducting a wide range of traffic studies, including
<br />traffic counts, vehicle classification, turning movement studies, speed studies, travel time and
<br />delay studies, parking studies, vehicle gap studies, and roadway characteristics inventories.
<br />He is proficient in collecting measurements for roadway features based on the latest FDOT
<br />RCI manual, such as lane widths, medians, sidewalks, and shoulders. Additionally, he has
<br />experience with data input into the FDOT mainframe system.

<br />as a prime consultant; assisting project manager with assignments such as coordination and
<br />review of roadway characteristics and traffic data collection provided engineering in-house

<br />FDOT D6 | Transportation Statistics #1 (2020-Present) |Assist the Project Manager with
<br />supervising the traffic and roadway data collection and analysis for the Statistics Unit in the
<br />Planning Office. The project’s assignments include 24, 48, & 72 hr. traffic counts, researching
<br />and recording data into the Roadway Characteristics Inventory (RCI) and Highway
<br />Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) databases, Straight Line Diagrams (SLD), traffic
<br />counts, jurisdictional transfers, and GIS services. Provided in-house engineering support

<br />Manager. Assist the project manager with multiple tasks assignments such as traffic operation
<br />roadway characteristics inventories, evaluation of speed limits, evaluation of general public

<br />FDOT D6 | General Engineering Consultant Support Services (2016-Present) | Multiple
<br />tasks performed included preparing traffic control plans for rail crossings, providing rail crossing
<br />inspection, and plans reviews including the design review process for the signing and pavement
<br />and signalization components of all crossings being part of the Brightline-All Aboard Florida
<br />within Miami Dade County. This review included incorporating comments into the ERC, actively
<br />participating in the design review meetings, and coordinating with FDOT. Additional tasks
<br />include administrative support as part of 5310 & 5311 federal programs, grant audit for airport
<br />improvements, district-wide truck turn radii methodology development, transit triennial
